Isak Rypdal (born 1971) is a Norwegian music producer and founder of Crab Key Records. He has released numerous albums and singles and has contributed on several Norwegian movie scores.
Isak Rypdal came to prominence in 1999 after singing Doctor No to Warner Music Norway. [1] The singles Lastima and La Luna written together with bandmember Bendik Gjevjon gained high rotation on nearly all Norwegian radio stations including NRK P3 for over a year. The singles also reached high on Norway’s official sales chart, [2] and for nearly two years Doctor No toured Norway with over 80 performances including playing for over 50.000 people at VG Lista Topp 20's show at Rådhusplassen, Oslo. [3]
With the following single All For You and the album Fat Sound To The Masses, [4] Doctor No signs a new deal with Warner Music Japan, [5] and many other territories follows up the releases in 2001. In 2002 Isak started the new project Disco Valente released on Nice & Firm/Bonnier Music Norway. Two 8-track maxi singles were released [6] and the debut single I See Music peaked on the official Scandinavian Dance Chart.
In 2004 Isak teams up with the Norwegian singer Hanne Romsaas and releases Freeloader - Pure Devotion on EMI Publishing Germany. The single was picked up by top DJ's such as Judge Jules who put the song on his top ten list on the BBC Radio One show. [7] The single is compiled in excess of 750,000 units and was also included on all Samsung mobile phones in the years after. [8] Isak Rypdal is currently working with the band Electro Spectre, [9] and the current album Dangerous Game was suggested as the best electro pop album for 2012 by Side-Line Magazine. [10]

François Kevorkian, also known by the stage name François K, is a French-born, U.S.-based DJ, producer, remixer and label owner of Armenian descent, who started his career DJing in clubs such as the Paradise Garage and Studio 54. Kevorkian has produced and remixed work by a diverse range of musicians including The Smiths, Adam Ant, Kraftwerk, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Diana Ross, Gloria Estefan and U2, and is considered one of the forefathers of house music.
Electronic dance music (EDM), also known as dance music, club music, or simply dance, is a broad range of percussive electronic music genres made largely for nightclubs, raves, and festivals. It is generally produced for playback by DJs who create seamless selections of tracks, called a DJ mix, by segueing from one recording to another. EDM producers also perform their music live in a concert or festival setting in what is sometimes called a live PA.
Rabbit in the Moon is an American electronic music group that formed in 1991. Their style draws from psychedelic trance, house music and breakbeat, along with other diverse influences.

He has also seen success under his own name, a prime example being his remix of Jeff Wayne's "The Eve of the War", which reached number three on the UK Singles Chart in 1989.
Thomas Brückner, known by his stage name Tomcraft, is a German DJ and producer. He specializes in progressive house and progressive trance music and is better known for having created the tracks "Loneliness" and "Prosac", working alongside Eniac.
Dance music is music composed specifically to facilitate or accompany dancing. It can be either a whole musical piece or part of a larger musical arrangement. In terms of performance, the major categories are live dance music and recorded dance music. While there exist attestations of the combination of dance and music in ancient times, the earliest Western dance music that we can still reproduce with a degree of certainty are old fashioned dances. In the Baroque period, the major dance styles were noble court dances. In the classical music era, the minuet was frequently used as a third movement, although in this context it would not accompany any dancing. The waltz also arose later in the classical era. Both remained part of the romantic music period, which also saw the rise of various other nationalistic dance forms like the barcarolle, mazurka, ecossaise, ballade and polonaise.
"Connected" is a song recorded by Japanese recording artist and lyricist Ayumi Hamasaki for her fourth studio album I Am..., released on January 1, 2002. The song was written by Hamasaki herself while it was produced by Dutch disc jockey Ferry Corsten. The song was first conceived when Corsten had developed a track in Europe entitled "The Lots of Love". Despite him playing it at several events and shows throughout Europe, he did not release the track. After this, Hamasaki and Corsten had started to collaborate and the pair had changed and used the finishing result to create "Connected".
"Keen on Disco" is the second single by the Danish dance/house duo Infernal from From Paris to Berlin, their most successful album to date. The single was released in June 2005 in a few selected European countries. It became a hit in Sweden and Finland, entering in the top 15 of both countries. The song became their biggest hit in Sweden, although "From Paris to Berlin" is their best-selling single ever. It managed to peak at number 12 in Finland in June 2005, and at number 13 in Sweden in August 2005.
Anita Kelsey is an English singer and songwriter whose vocals and top lines are featured on many hit dance records and feature films. Her voice has appeared as backup vocals for artists such as Kings of Leon, The Good, the Bad & the Queen, Razorlight, Boy George and the Spice Girls, as the featured vocalist on big screen productions such as Dark City, and more recently as the singer and songwriter for a series of successful dance projects. Since 2009 she has worked as a cat behaviour consultant.
Post-disco is a term to describe an aftermath in popular music history circa 1979–1985, imprecisely beginning with an unprecedented backlash against disco music in the United States, leading to civil unrest and a riot in Chicago known as the Disco Demolition Night on July 12, 1979, and indistinctly ending with the mainstream appearance of new wave in 1980. During its dying stage, disco displayed an increasingly electronic character that soon served as a stepping stone to new wave, old-school hip hop, euro disco, and was succeeded by an underground club music called hi-NRG, which was its direct continuation.
"Ooh Aah... Just a Little Bit" is the debut solo single of Australian singer Gina G. The song was written by British songwriters Simon Caldwell and Steve Rodway, and released on 25 March 1996 as the first single from her debut album, Fresh! (1997). It reached No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart almost two months later and was also a number-one hit in Israel. In the US, the song peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was the United Kingdom's entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1996, held in Oslo, Norway, where it finished in eighth place. It was successful on the charts in Europe, Australia and the US, and was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording.

Alexander Robotnick is an Italian electronic musician. He made his debut on the Italian music scene as the founding member of Avida, a dance-cabaret band featuring Daniele Trambusti and Stefano Fuochi.
"Je t'aime mélancolie" is a 1991 song recorded by the French artist Mylène Farmer. The song was released as the third single from her third studio album L'Autre..., in December 1991. Characterized by its gloomy lyrics and its music video shot on a boxing ring, it achieved success, becoming a top ten hit in France and Belgium.

A synth-pop cover of "The Woody Woodpecker Song", it was released in 1984 by Boni Records through their sublabel Break Records as the duo's debut single, as well as the sixth track from their debut studio album, The Invasion of the Spacepeckers (1984).
Electro Spectre is a Norwegian electronic music duo from Oslo, Norway. The band consists of Isak Rypdal (writer-producer) and Alexander Björneboe (writer-singer).
"Impressive Instant" is a song by American singer-songwriter Madonna from her 2000 studio album Music. Originally intended to be the fourth single of the album, the release was cancelled due to a disagreement between Madonna and her recording company. Finally Warner Bros. released it in the United States as a promotional single on September 18, 2001. Written and produced by Madonna and Mirwais Ahmadzaï, the track is bright and uplifting in its content and composition. It was the first song that Madonna and Ahmadzaï worked on and recorded. Ahmadzaï had to work separately on his laptop to generate the sound elements which Madonna wanted in the song, since it was difficult to generate the music in the recording studio. "Impressive Instant" has been described as a club-savvy acid techno, pop-trance, electropop and electro house stomper containing futuristic keyboard lines, with Madonna's vocals being distorted and robotic. Backed by laser noises and synths, the song's lyrics deal with love at first sight, and contains somewhat absurd, nonsensical lyrics.
