Isau Ogunkunle (born 10 February 1986) is a class four Nigerian table tennis player. [1]
He competed for Nigeria at local and international table tennis competitions. Ogunkunle participated in the male para table tennis competition at the 2022 Commonwealth Games representing Nigeria. [2] [3]
Ogunkunle took part in the 2022 Commonwealth Games Table Tennis Mens single classes C3-5, where he beat Raj Aravindan Alagar 3–0 to win bronze medal. [4] [5]
Ogunkunle also competed in the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics in Tokyo representing Nigeria. [6]
Ogunkunle and his counterpart Ahmed Koleosho were defeated by the French duo of Florian Merrien and Nicolas Savant in their quarter finals of the men's team class 4-5 event of the table tennis competition. [7] [8]
One of his major achievements was defeating African champion, Egypts Mohamed Sameh Eid in the first round at the 2019 Africa PTT Championships in Alexandria, Egypt. [9] [10]
Lisa Daniela "Danni" Di Toro is an Australian wheelchair tennis and para table tennis player. Di Toro was the 2010 French Open doubles champion and has also been the Masters double champion. In singles, Di Toro is the former world number one and two time masters finalist. In 2015, she moved to para-table tennis and represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics, where she was team captain with Kurt Fearnley. At the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, her seventh Paralympics, she was the team captain and Opening Ceremony flag bearer with Ryley Batt. She has been selected to compete at her eight Paralympics in Paris.
Melissa Tapper is an Australian table tennis player. After competing at the 2012 Summer Paralympics, she represented Australia at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in elite non-Paralympic competition. In March 2016, she became the first Australian athlete to qualify for both the Summer Olympics and Summer Paralympics.
Dian David Mickael Jacobs was an Indonesian athlete who competed in table tennis, primarily Class 10 para table tennis. Born in Ujung Pandang, he took up table tennis at the age of ten and rose quickly through national tournaments. He was training to play internationally by 2000, and in 2001 he won his first gold medal, at the SEATTA Championships in Singapore. After 2010 he competed in para table tennis, having spent most of his career competing against athletes with full functionality. Having lost control in his right hand, he decided to compete in the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, winning a bronze medal.
