Punjabi cinema, popularly known as Pollywood, refers to the Punjabi-language film industry centered around the Indian state of Punjab, and based in Amritsar and Mohali.
Mirza: The Untold Story is a 2012 Indian Punjabi-language action romance film written and directed by Baljit Singh Deo. It stars Gippy Grewal and Mandy Takhar in the lead roles, with music rapper Honey Singh in his first commercial venture, as a dunce gangster. Produced by Inda Raikoti and Aman Khatkar, the movie had a historic opening across Punjab. The movie was released on 6 April 2012.
Yaaran Naal Baharan is a 2005 Indian Punjabi-language feature film directed by Manmohan Singh. It stars Jimmy Sheirgill in the lead role with Juhi Babbar. A spiritual sequel, Yaraan Naal Baharaan 2, followed in 2012, directed by Samit Brar it starred Vikramjeet Virk and Rishita Monga in the lead roles.
Jatt & Juliet is an Indian Punjabi-language romantic comedy film directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Darshan Singh Grewal and Gunbir Singh Sidhu. The film stars Diljit Dosanjh opposite Neeru Bajwa. It was released to theaters on 29 June 2012. Upon release, the film became a massive blockbuster at the box office and also won multiple awards at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2013 including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress. The film also spawned a sequel the following year, titled Jatt & Juliet 2 featuring most of the same cast and crew. The sequel also broke records at the box office, and ended up becoming the highest-grossing Punjabi film ever. It was remade in Bengali in 2014 as Bangali Babu English Mem.
Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22 is a Punjabi comedy film directed by Amit Prasher. The film features Amrinder Gill and Yo Yo Honey Singh in the lead roles as two spoiled rich brothers, alongside Mandy Takhar. The film released on 25 January 2013, and did good business at the box office, completing verdict of "semi-hit".

Ek Veer Ki Ardaas... Veera is an Indian television soap opera, that aired on StarPlus and streams on Hotstar, produced under Yash Patnik's Beyond Dream Production. The series premiered on 29 October 2012 and ended on 8 August 2015. It initially starred child actors Harshita Ojha and Bhavesh Balchandani and after a 15-year leap, the series starred Digangana Suryavanshi, Shivin Narang, Vishal Vashishtha, and Farnaz Shetty.

The film was produced by Manpreet Johal and Vehli Janta Films, distributed by White Hill Studios. It marked the debut of Tarsem Jassar.

It is direct sequel to Rabb Da Radio (2017). The film stars Tarsem Jassar and Simi Chahal in lead roles. In the film, a newly married man returns home and is saddened to learn his extended family has fractured. The film also stars B.N. Sharma, Nirmal Rishi, Jagjeet Sandhu, and Tania in supporting roles. The film won the 67th National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Punjabi.
Sukh Sanghera is a Canadian film and music video director associated with Punjabi-language films and music. He has directed over 300 Punjabi music videos. He has been nominated for various awards at PTC Punjabi Music Awards, winning one for his music video Diary sung by Amrinder Gill. In 2019, he directed Laiye Je Yaarian, for which he received PTC nomination for Best Debut Director.
Tarnvir Singh Jagpal is an Indian film director. He is known for his work in Punjabi Cinema. He made his directing debut with the movie Rabb Da Radio, for which he received a Filmfare Best Film (critics) Award.
