Islamia Collegiate School [1] is a school in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, founded in 1913 by Sahibzada Abdul Qayyum and Sir George Roose Keppel. [2] It is a part of Islamia College Peshawar.
The School has a history of over hundred years. It has lush green gardens and huge grounds besides quality education and excellent teachers.
Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan (late) "The father of Pakistan's atomic weapon program" also paid a visit to the school.
Miangul Jahan Zeb HPk, HQA, CIE, also known as Miangul Abdul-Haq Jahan Zeb, was the Wāli of Swat from 1949 to 1969, a princely state that is now part of Pakistan. He succeeded his father, Wadud of Swat. He is remembered for building schools, hospitals, and roads, but also for his absolute rule over the region, which ended when in 1969. When Pakistan came into being, Wadud of Swat declared the accession of Swat State to Pakistan on November 23, 1947. Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Governor-General of Pakistan, accepted the Instrument of Accession on November 24, 1947. Wadud of Swat announced his resignation in favor of his son Jehanzeb. Jahanzeb also worked to protect the landmarks of previous cultures.

Nawab Khan Bahadur Sahibzada Sir Abdul Qayyum Khan KCIE, hailing from Topi, Swabi District, British India was an educationist and politician. Qayyum Khan helped Mortimer Durand during his negotiation of the Durand Line agreement with Afghanistan in 1893. Qayyum Khan became the first Chief Minister of the North-West Frontier Province on 1 April 1937. He is also known for establishing the Islamia College, Peshawar on the mould of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan's policy of educating Muslims.

Hayat Mohammad Khan Sherpao, simply known as Hayat Sherpao, was a left-wing intellectual and socialist, serving as the fifteenth Governor of North West Frontier Province of Pakistan, as well as vice-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party. Sherpao held important executive offices, including served as the Interior minister and had held a number of provincial ministries of the North West Frontier Province.
