It's a New Day is the sixth album by Hitomi Yaida released on 22 November 2006. The singles from this album are "Go My Way", "Startline", "Hatsukoi".
Released over a year after Here Today – Gone Tomorrow , this album is the first from Yaida after Aozora ceased the distribution and promotion contract with Toshiba-EMI.
A limited edition version was also released on the same day, containing a DVD of PV's and extras. The track Midousuji Planet (御堂筋Planet, Midousuji Planet) was also released at the same time as an internet only download.

Hitomi Yaida 矢井田瞳 is a Japanese pop/folk rock singer-songwriter and guitarist. She often goes by the nickname Yaiko. Her musical style is often called "heart rock" by her fans. Yaida is an established musical artist in Japan and has also had minor club hits in the United Kingdom.
Candlize is the second album by Hitomi Yaida released on 31 October 2001. The album title is the coined word which means "the flame of the candle projected onto a pupil" and which was created by Yaida. (Candlize=Candle+Eyes)
Daiya-monde is the first album by Hitomi Yaida released on 25 October 2000. The singles from this album were "B'coz I Love You" and "My Sweet Darlin'". The album also contains the mix version of "How?" & "I like" released from the indie record label only in the Kansai area.
I/flancy is the third album by Hitomi Yaida released on 9 October 2002. The singles from this album were "Ring My Bell", "Andante" and "Mikansei no Melody". The album title is an anagram of "i can fly".
