Ittehad-e-Tanzeemat-Madaris Pakistan is a federation of associations representing the madrassas (Islamic schools) of different schools of Islam in Pakistan. The five members are 1- Wifaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia, 2-Tanzeem ul Madaris Ahle Sunnat, 3-Wafaq Ul Madaris Al Salafia, 4-Rabta-ul-Madaris and 5-Wifaq Ul Madaris Al-Shia. [1] [2] [3]

Muhammad Rafi Usmani was a Pakistani Muslim scholar, jurist and author who served as the President of Darul Uloom Karachi. He was an alumnus of Darul Uloom Deoband, University of the Punjab and the Darul Uloom Karachi. He authored books including Ahkām-e-Zakāt, Al-Tālīqāt al-nāfi'ah alā fath al-mulhim, Islām mai aurat ki hukmrāni and Nawādir al-Fiqh. He was a syndicate member of the University of Karachi, vice-president and a member of the executive council of Wifaq-ul-Madaris. His brother Muhammad Taqi Usmani is also a senior scholar.

Darul Uloom Karachi is a Madrasa in Karachi, Pakistan. It was founded by Muhammad Shafi Deobandi on June 1951 at Nanak Wara and later on it transferred to Korangi, Karachi, on March 17, 1957. It continues the tradition of the Darul uloom system initiated by Darul Uloom Deoband. The institution has adopted a balanced approach between religious and worldly matters. The secondary schools have individual faculties for both boys and girls. The school has the highest standards of Islamic education and offers a combined curriculum covering traditional Islamic studies and contemporary academic subjects. It is registered as one of the Islamic Schools under Wifaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia.

Madrassas of Pakistan are Islamic seminaries in Pakistan, known in Urdu as Madaris-e-Deeniya . Most madrassas teach mostly Islamic subjects such as tafseer, hadith, fiqh and Arabic ; but include some non-Islamic subjects, which enable students to understand the religious ones. The number of madrassas grew dramatically during and since the rule of General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq. They are especially popular among Pakistan's poorest families, in part because they feed and house their students. Estimates of the number of madrasas vary between 12,000 and 40,000. In some areas of Pakistan they outnumber the underfunded public schools.

Wifaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia, Pakistan is the largest federation of Islamic seminaries in Pakistan, founded in 1959. More than 10,000 seminaries and 23,000 madaris across Pakistan are affiliated with the federation. It controls all the seminaries which are run by Deoband School of thought.

Darul Uloom Haqqania or Jamia Dar al-Ulum Haqqania is an Islamic Seminary in the town of Akora Khattak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, northwestern Pakistan. The seminary propagates the Hanafi Deobandi school of Sunni Islam. It was founded by Maulana Abdul Haq along the lines of the Darul Uloom Deoband seminary in India, where he had taught. It has been dubbed the University of Jihad due to its methods and content of instruction, along with the future occupations of its alumni. A number of leading members of the Taliban, including past chief Akhtar Mansour, studied here.

Maulana Atta Ur Rehman currently he is serving as Senator. He is also served as federal Minister of Tourism from 2008-2010 during PPP government. Currently he is Vice President JUI (F), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He is the brother of Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, the Emir of JUI (F) Pakistan and the second son of former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the then NWFP Maulana Mufti Mahmud. Mufti Mahmud was a political leader of the Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind before 1947 in British India and JUI after Pakistan came into being.

He is a professor at Jinnah University for Women, Member of National Academic Council of Institute of Policy Studies, Head of Shariah Board of Burj Bank and President of Tanzeem-ul-Madaris and Darul Uloom Naeemia, Karachi.

Saleemullah Khan was a Pakistani Islamic scholar and former President of Wifaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia, Pakistan. His students include Muhammad Rafi Usmani and Muhammad Taqi Usmani. Khan established Jamia Farooqia in Karachi in 1967.

He has also served as Vice-president of Wifaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia, Pakistan from 8 June 1989 to 2 March 1998.

Abdur Razzaq Iskander was a Pakistani Islamic scholar and writer. He was the chancellor and senior hadith-professor of Jamia Uloom-ul-Islamia, emir of the Aalmi Majlis Tahaffuz Khatm-e-Nubuwwat and the president of Wifaqul Madaris in Pakistan. Tanzeem ul Madaris or Tanzeem-ul-Madaris Ahl-e-Sunnat is a board of education working with over 15000 Sunni madrassas across Pakistan. It is a key seminary board in the country affiliated with the Barelvi movement within Sunni Islam. Grand Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman of Jamia Naeemia Lahore is the President of the board. The total strength of the students appeared in its examination was 600000 lac in 2013. Pakistan's Higher Education Commission recognizes the degrees awarded by madrassas affiliated to Tanzeem ul Madaris.

Maulana Anwar-ul-Haq Haqqani is a Pakistani Islamic scholar who is currently serving as the chancellor of Darul Uloom Haqqania, a post he has held since November 2018 after the death of his brother Maulana Samiul Haq. He has also been serving as the central vice-president of Wifaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia, Pakistan, since 8 April 2009.
