The Ivano-Frankivsk Company is a company of the Liut Brigade of the Special Tasks Patrol Police subordinated to Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The company is based in Ivano-Frankivsk. It was established in 2014 and has, since then seen regular combat on the frontlines.
It was established in May 2014. On 31 July 2014, 120 soldiers of the battalion took the oath of loyalty to Ukraine and went to ATO zone at the start of August 2014. [1] [2] In August 2014, the "Ivano-Frankivsk" battalion took part in the Battle of Ilovaisk [3] during which eight soldiers of the Battalion (Andriy Mykhailovych Karabinovych, [4] Mykhailo Anatoliyovych Pogorelov, [5] Zoryan Mykhailovych Bilinskyi, [6] Perepichka Oleg Hryhorovych, [7] Dmytro Viktorovych Pacino, [8] Hrytsyk Roman Vasyliovych, [9] Yuriy Ivanovich Kosovchych [10] and Ihor Stepanovych Harasymchuk [11] ) were killed and a vehicle of the brigade was also destroyed. On 31 August 2014, battalion commander Oleksandr Polishchuk and 17 other soldiers broke through the encirclement in Ilovaisk and marched towards Dnipropetrovsk, four were severely wounded and had to be evacuated by helicopter. [12] On 12 September 2014, despite the heavy losses sustained during the Battle of Ilovaisk, the battalion again went to the ATO zone stating: "It's scary to drive, you have to attack to survive. Only then will it be possible not to survive, but to live". [13] In September–October 2014, civilians from Transcarpathia provided large amount of aid for the fighters of the "Ivano-Frankivsk" battalion. [14] On 10 October 2014, 20 personnel of the Battalion took the oath of loyalty [15] and the Battalion was again deployed to the ATO zone, this time in Mariupol. [16]
From 2022, following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, it has been operating as a company [17] [18] In 2023, it became a part of the Liut Brigade. [19] [20]
The Poltava Battalion is a Ukrainian battalion that is part of the Special Tasks Patrol Police, under the authority of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The unit consists of approximately 300 policemen, aged between 18 and 45. Various charity organizations in Ukraine have provided basic supplies and medical care for the volunteers of the battalion.

Battalion of the Special Purpose Militia Patrol Service "Shakhtarsk" is a former volunteer special unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. It was created in June 2014 in the structure of the State Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. On October 17, 2014, it was disbanded due to the discovered facts of looting. On its basis, the company "Tornado" was formed.

It is also called the battalion of Cyborgs for its heroic defense of the Donetsk Airport. It is made up exclusively of volunteers.
The 21st Separate Public Order Protection Brigade is a law enforcement brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine tasked with protection of the law and order as well as the territorial integrity of Ukraine. It was established in 1992 on the basis of the 25th Separate Special Motorized Militia Battalion as the 6th Regiment. The 1st Operational Battalion named after the Hero of Ukraine Serhii Kulchytskyi is a volunteer Battalion of the 1st Presidential Brigade, a part of the Offensive Guard of the National Guard of Ukraine. The Sviatoslav Company is a company of the Enei Battalion of the Liut Brigade of the Special Tasks Patrol Police subordinated to Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The company is currently based in Kirovohrad. It was established in 2014 and has, since then seen regular combat on the frontlines
