The Iveco S-Way is a heavy-duty truck manufactured by the Italian vehicle manufacturer Iveco. [1] [2] It was introduced in 2019 as a successor to the Iveco Stralis and is currently assembled in Madrid, Spain.

In November 2022, the S-Way was launched in South America, produced at the Iveco Sete Lagoas plant. [3]

The S-Way debuted on 2 July 2019 with a new cabin and digital technologies. [4] [5] [6] [7]

X-Way

The Iveco X-Way is a light construction truck based on the S-Way. In the past, the X-Way was equipped with the Stralis cab, but from Q4 2020 the S-Way cab is used instead. [8] [9]

Nikola Tre

In November 2019, Nikola Motor Company and Iveco presented the jointly developed Nikola Tre electric truck, with a power of 644 hp (480 kW), a maximum torque of 1,800 N⋅m (1,300 lbf⋅ft), a battery of 720 kWh and a range of up to 400 km (250 mi). It is developed on the basis of the Iveco S-Way.

On 21 September 2022, at the IAA Transportation 2022 exhibition in Hanover, the production version of the Nikola Tre BEV 4x2 was presented, with a range of up to 530 km (330 mi) without recharging. [10]

A hydrogen fuel cell prototype, the Nikola Tre FCEV 6×2, which has an autonomy of up to 800 km (500 mi), was also presented at the exhibition.

The Iveco Daily is a large light commercial van produced by the Italian automaker Iveco since 1978; it was also sold as the Fiat Daily by Fiat until 1983. Unlike the more car-like unibody Fiat Ducato, the Daily uses a separate ladder frame typical of heavier commercial vehicles. The Iveco Daily is produced at the Iveco Suzzara plant, near Mantova in Italy, where Iveco has recently made substantial investments to renew the production lines.

Astra Veicoli Industriali S.p.A. is an Italian company that produces trucks, heavy transport vehicles and military vehicles. Astra was privately founded in 1946 in Cagliari, and since 1986 has been part of Iveco. In 1951 Astra moved to Piacenza. From 1946 to 1986 Astra was owned by the Bertuzzi family of Piacenza. Nikola Corporation is an American manufacturer of heavy-duty commercial battery-electric vehicles, fuel-cell electric vehicles, and energy solutions. It presented several concept vehicles from 2016 to 2020, the first of which was a natural gas fueled turbine-electric semi truck. The company went public on June 4, 2020. In February 2022, the company projected deliveries of between 300 and 500 of its first battery-electric semitrucks — known as the Nikola Tre — to customers. The company delivered its first two battery-electric trucks in December 2021. Like Tesla, Inc., the company is named in honor of Nikola Tesla, but these are not related to the inventor. Nikola Corporation is based in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Tesla Semi is a battery electric semi-trailer truck built by Tesla, Inc. since 2022. The truck is powered by three motors, and according to Tesla has approximately three times the power of a typical diesel semi truck, a range of 500 miles (800 km), and can operate at an energy use of less than two kilowatt-hours per mile (1.2 kW⋅h/km).

The Iveco EuroCargo is a range of medium-duty trucks produced by the Italian manufacturer Iveco since 1991. The EuroCargo occupies a place between the light Daily and the heavy Stralis in Iveco's lineup. The EuroCargo replaced the Zeta model produced in the 1970s.

SAIC Hongyan Automotive Co., Ltd. is a Chinese truck manufacturing company headquartered in Chongqing, China and owned by Shanghai New Power Automotive Technology, a subsidiary of SAIC. The company was established in January 2003 as a joint venture co-owned by the Chongqing municipality with the name Chongqing Hongyan and traces its origins back to a Chinese manufacturer established in 1965. In 2007, it was renamed SAIC Iveco Hongyan Commercial Vehicle after SAIC and Iveco bought shares in the venture. In September 2021, it adopted its present name after becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Shanghai New Power Automotive Technology. The company is focused on producing Iveco-based heavy trucks which are mostly marketed under the Hongyan marque.

The Audi e-tron GT is a battery electric executive car produced by Audi since late 2020 as part of the e-tron battery electric sub-brand, and the third fully electric car model, after Q8 e-tron and Q8 e-tron Sportback SUVs. It is also Audi's first full-sized electric sedan, and the RS e-tron GT, put on the market in 2021 is, in terms of 0-60 times, the fastest Audi sedan to date. The OshkoshNext Generation Delivery Vehicle (NGDV) is a mail truck for the United States Postal Service (USPS). The contract award, made to Oshkosh Defense, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation, in February 2021, is valued at $6 billion. Up to 160,000 vehicles will be built in a new South Carolina factory. Four variants of the NGDV are expected to be in fleet use: both gasoline-powered and battery-electric, in either front wheel drive or all wheel drive. The USPS was scheduled to receive the vehicles in June 2024; the first vehicles were delivered and began operating that August.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Ford F-150 Lightning</span> Battery electric light duty truck

The Ford F-150 Lightning is a battery electric full-size light duty truck unveiled by Ford Motor Company in May 2021 as part of the fourteenth generation Ford F-Series. Four models have been announced, and all models initially will be dual-motor, four-wheel-drive, with EPA range estimates of 240–320 mi (390–510 km). A commercial-grade version of the all-wheel drive (AWD) truck is sold in the United States, with higher-power/trim/range models also sold. The F-150 Lightning began production on April 26, 2022.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Workhorse C-Series</span> Motor vehicle

The Workhorse C-Series was an American line of battery electric medium-duty delivery vans built by Workhorse Group for commercial package delivery company fleets, which entered limited production in 2021, were recalled that September, and were discontinued in 2022 after fewer than fifty were built. The C-Series was originally named the N-GEN when the line was first announced in 2017. N-GEN prototypes began testing in 2018 and were renamed to the C-Series in 2019.
