Book 2 of the trilogy, Through the Ever Night, was released in the United States on January 8, 2013 and became both a New York Times and a USA Today Best Seller before the month was over. The final installment, Into the Still Blue, was released January 28, 2014 however the final novel did not receive as much praise as the preceding books.
