Champoeg is a former town in the U.S. state of Oregon. Now a ghost town, it was an important settlement in the Willamette Valley in the early 1840s. Located halfway between Oregon City and Salem, it was the site of the first provisional government of the Oregon Country.

The J. C. Penney Historic District is a historic district in Kemmerer, Wyoming encompassing several properties associated with James Cash Penney (1875-1971). The district includes the Golden Rule Store, the first in what became the J. C. Penney department store chain, and Penney's home during the store's early years. The district was declared a National Historic Landmark District in 1978, for Penney's role in creating one of the first national department store chains.
The J. C. Penney–Chicago Store is a historic department store building in downtown Tucson, Arizona. Built in 1903 for the Los Angeles Furniture Co, it housed J. C. Penney by July 25, 1942. In 1957, after J. C. Penney moved to the west side of Stone Avenue just north of Pennington Street, Aaronson Brothers moved in. The Chicago Store moved in after the El Paso based department store closed in 1967.
The J. C. Penney Company Building located at 104 S. Rail Street in Shoshone, Idaho, is a historic department store building. It was built in 1918 by stonemason Ignacio Berriochoa.
The J. C. Penney House in Kemmerer, Wyoming was the home of James Cash Penney, the founder of the J. C. Penney department stores, during the 1904-1909 period that he developed his formula for a successful dry goods store. Penney and wife moved to Kemmerer in 1902 and lived in the garret of a small house. With a child, it was too small, and Penney bought this two-story house in 1904. It was small, too: about 25 feet (7.6 m) wide and sloping down to the back, going about 30 feet (9.1 m) deep.
The McMorran and Washburne Department Store Building, also known as the Tiffany Building, is a four-story commercial structure in Eugene, Oregon. The original two-story building was constructed in 1902 by Nels Roney as a dry goods store owned by former Eugene mayor J. H. McClung. The building was expanded to four stories in 1913.
