J. Leslie Sensenbrenner House is a 19th and 20th Century Revival home in Neenah, Wisconsin. It was designed by Thomas Van Alyea and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places listings in Wisconsin on September 2, 2003.

History

The home was completed in 1935 and is located in Neenah, Wisconsin. It was built by the son of Kimberly-Clark president, J. Leslie Sensenbrenner. [1] It is a waterfront property with the Fox River to the west and Lake Winnebago to the East. [2]

The home was added to the National Register of Historic Places listings in Wisconsin (03000897) on September 2, 2003. [3]

The home is 7,625-square-foot (708.4 m2), with eight bedrooms, a powder room, 10 bathrooms, a library, and hidden rooms. [2]

Van Gelder Studio American jazz recording studio

The Van Gelder Studio is a recording studio at 445 Sylvan Avenue, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, United States. Following the use of his parents' home at 25 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack, New Jersey, for the original studio, Rudy Van Gelder (1924–2016) moved to the new location for his recording studio in July 1959. It has been used to record many albums released by jazz labels such as Blue Note, Prestige, Impulse!, Verve and CTI. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 25, 2022, for its significance in performing arts and engineering.

William Waters (architect) American architect

William Waters (1843–1917) was an American architect who designed numerous buildings in Wisconsin that eventually were listed on the National Register of Historic Places. He was responsible for designing much of historic Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He was also responsible for designing the Wisconsin building for the Columbian Exposition. Waters died in 1917 and is buried at Riverside Cemetery in Oshkosh. After his death, Oshkosh honored him by naming the intersection of Washington Avenue and State Street as the "William Waters Plaza".
