JAXART Records is a Southern California based record label founded in 2007 by Ashley Jex of the MP3 blog Rock Insider. [1] The label began releasing vinyl and digital albums for artists from Southern California and beyond.

JAXART Records has since released vinyl singles for artist such as Mezzanine Owls, The Henry Clay People, The Parson Red Heads, RACES (Debut LP Out Mar. 27th[ timeframe? ] via Frenchkiss Records), Steffaloo, [2] Sevendys, Polls, [3] and more. [4] In 2012 JAXART would release the debut full length from Southern California DIY band So Many Wizards [5] – performers at The Smell [6] and pehrspace [7] music venues.

The Limousines are an American electronica band based out of California's San Francisco Bay Area. Made up of multi-instrumentalist/producer Giovanni Giusti and songwriter/vocalist Eric Victorino, the duo formed in 2007 and has since gained international fame, thanks in part to the release of their singles "Very Busy People" and "Internet Killed the Video Star". Crazy for You is the debut studio album by American indie rock duo Best Coast, released July 27, 2010 by Mexican Summer. The album was recorded by singer-songwriter Bethany Cosentino and her musical partner Bobb Bruno. It was produced, engineered, and mixed by Lewis Pesacov of Fool's Gold and Foreign Born. The album was released after a series of EPs that brought the band to underground notoriety with songs such as "The Sun Was High " and "When I'm with You", the latter being included in this release as a bonus track. The album artwork was created by David Rager and includes Cosentino's late cat Snacks, alongside many references to the state of California. The lyrics deal mostly with romance and relationships, with Cosentino describing them to Pitchfork Media as "about weed and my cat and being lazy a lot." The album was made available for streaming on July 12 at Urban Outfitters. Crazy for You was well received by music critics.

In the Valley Below is an American band from Grand Rapids, Michigan that formed in Echo Park, California in 2011. The band is led by Jeffrey Jacob Mendel and Angela Gail Mattson. The band's first studio album, The Belt, was released in 2014, featuring the single "Peaches", which peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart in 2016. Their sophomore album and feature film The Pink Chateau was released on April 26, 2019, via Bright Antenna Records.

Moaning is an American, Los Angeles–based alternative rock band, formed by musicians Sean Solomon, Pascal Stevenson and Andrew MacKelvie in 2014. After self-releasing a self-titled EP, the band was signed to Sub Pop Records and has subsequently released two full-length albums.
