Jack Louis Del Rio Jr. is an American football coach and a former professional linebacker who is currently serving as a senior advisor to the head coach at the University of Wisconsin. He played college football as a linebacker at the University of Southern California before being drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the third round of the 1985 NFL draft. He also played for four other NFL teams before retiring in 1996.
Herbert Jackson Youngblood III is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL) for fourteen seasons during the 1970s and 1980s. He was a five-time consensus All-Pro and a seven-time Pro Bowl selection and was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Before playing professionally, Youngblood played college football for the University of Florida, and was recognized as an All-American. He is considered among the best players Florida ever produced—a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and one of only six Florida Gators to be named to the Gator Football Ring of Honor.
Clarence Fred Gehrke was an American football player and executive. He played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Cleveland / Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Cardinals from 1940 through 1950. To boost team morale, Gehrke designed and painted the Los Angeles Rams logo in 1948, which was the first painted on the helmets of an NFL team. He later served as the general manager of the Denver Broncos from 1977 through 1981. He is the great-grandfather of Milwaukee Brewers left fielder and 2018 NL MVP Christian Yelich.

In 2015, Jack dropped out of UCLA and declared for the draft after suffering a season-ending knee injury. Jack was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft. Along with his mother LaSonjia Jack, he is the current owner of the ECHL Allen Americans.

The 1968 Humboldt State Lumberjacks football team represented Humboldt State College—now known as California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt—as a member of the Far Western Conference (FWC) during the 1968 NCAA College Division football season. Led by third-year head coach Bud Van Deren, the Lumberjacks compiled an overall record of 10–1 with a mark of 6–0 in conference play, winning the FWC title. Humboldt State finished the regular season ranked No. 16 in the AP small college poll and No. 10 in the UPI small college poll. At the end of the season the Lumberjacks were invited to the Camellia Bowl. There was no playoff in the NCAA College Division at this time, so the Camellia Bowl was one of four regional championship games in the division. Humboldt State faced California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) champion Fresno State, and defeated the Bulldogs, 29–14, to win the western region title. The team outscored its opponents 375 to 138 for the season. Humboldt State played home games at the Redwood Bowl in Arcata, California.
