Sir Mohamed Muktar Jama Farah is a Somali-born British retired long-distance runner. Considered one of the greatest runners of all time, his ten global championship gold medals make him the most successful male track distance runner in the history of the sport, and he is the most successful British track athlete in modern Olympic Games history.
Christopher Thompson is a British long-distance runner, who won the silver medal in the 10,000 metres at the 2010 European Athletics Championships in Barcelona, on 27 July 2010 behind his compatriot Mo Farah. Prior to his 2010 medal win he had won the European U23 5000 m Championship in 2003. However he was initially unable to build on this victory, as he had substantial injury problems for a number of years. He is currently coached by Alan Storey.

She was also the best European junior at the World Cross Country Championships those years.
Eilish McColgan is a Scottish middle- and long-distance runner. She is the 2022 Commonwealth Games 10,000 metres champion with the Games record, and 5000 metres silver medallist. McColgan is a four-time European Championships medallist, winning silver medals for the 5000 m in 2018 and 10,000 m in 2022, bronze in the 5000 m in 2022, and a bronze for the indoor 3000 metres in 2017. She is the European record holder for the 10 km road race, and the British record holder for the 5000 m, 10,000 m, 5 km and half marathon. She also holds the European best in the 10 miles on the roads.
Laura Muir is a Scottish middle- and long-distance runner. She is the 2020 Tokyo Olympic silver medallist in the 1500 metres, having previously finished seventh in the event at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Muir won the bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships, and has three other top five placings in 1500 m finals at the World Athletics Championships, finishing fifth in 2015, fourth in 2017 and fifth in 2019. She is a two-time European 1500 m champion from 2018 and 2022 as well as the 2022 Commonwealth Games 1500 m champion and 800 metres bronze medallist.
Neil Gourley is a Scottish middle-distance runner specialising in the 1500 metres. He won the silver medal in the event at the 2023 European Indoor Championships and bronze at the 2015 European Under-23 Championships.
Philip Sesemann is a British long-distance runner. Sesemann was the first British finisher at the 2021 London Marathon in his marathon debut, clocking 2:12:58 to finish in 7th place.
James West is a British track and field athlete. He is a multiple-time British champion.
Hannah Nuttall is a British athlete. She competes in middle-distance and cross-country running events. In 2024, she became British champion in the 5000 metres.
Innes FitzGerald is a British track and field athlete and cross country runner. She is the 2023 European Cross Country U20 champion.
Mahamed Mahamed is a British long distance runner. He has represented Great Britain at senior level and is a twice English National Cross Country Champion.
Abbie Donnelly is a British track and field athlete and cross country runner. She was a bronze medalist in the individual and gold medalist in the team event at the 2023 European Cross Country Championships.She won gold in the team half marathon at the 2024 European Athletics Championships.
Georgia Bell is a British track and field athlete who competes as a middle distance runner, and in the duathlon. In 2024, she became British national champion in the 1500 metres, both indoors and outdoors, and won the silver medal at the 2024 European Athletics Championships.
Rory Leonard is a British track and field athlete who competes as a long distance runner. In 2023, he won gold at the European U23 Athletics Championships over 10,000 metres.
Lauren McNeil is a British long distance runner. She was a gold medalist in the team half marathon at the 2024 European Athletics Championships.
