Kenton County is a county located in the northern part of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. As of the 2020 census,the population was 169,064,making it the third most populous county in Kentucky. Its county seats are Covington and Independence. It was,until November 24,2010,the only county in Kentucky to have two legally recognized county seats. The county was formed in 1840 and is named for Simon Kenton,a frontiersman notable in the early history of the state.

The National Broadcasting Company's NBC Radio Network was an American commercial radio network which was in continuous operation from 1926 through 1999. Jack Avon Harbaugh is an American football coach and former player. He served as the head football coach at Western Michigan University from 1982 to 1986 and Western Kentucky University from 1989 to 2002,compiling a career college football head coaching record of 116–95–3. In his final year at Western Kentucky,he led the 2002 Hilltoppers to an NCAA Division I-AA Football Championship title. In 2023,Harbaugh came out of retirement to become assistant head coach of the Michigan Wolverines under his son Jim and helped lead the team to win the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship.
