Jacqueline Walker (born November 7,1941) is an American Democratic Party politician who served in the New Jersey General Assembly from the 13th Legislative District from 1984 to 1986. [1] [2]
Born in Jersey City,New Jersey,Wilson grew up in West New York,where she attended Memorial High School. She earned an undergraduate and master's degree at Jersey City State College (now New Jersey City University) and studied further at Teachers College,Columbia University. A resident of Matawan,her victory in the 1983 election was her first run for elective office. [3] [4]
West New York is a town in the northern part of Hudson County,in the U.S. state of New Jersey,situated upon the New Jersey Palisades. As of the 2020 United States census,the town's population was 52,912,an increase of 3,204 (+6.4%) from the 2010 census count of 49,708,which in turn reflected an increase of 3,940 (+8.6%) from the 45,768 counted in the 2000 census. The Census Bureau's Population Estimates Program calculated that the city's population was 51,981 in 2022,ranking the city the 770th-most-populous in the country.

As of the 2020 United States census,the borough's population was 9,565,an increase of 755 (+8.6%) from the 2010 census count of 8,810,which in turn reflected a decline of 100 (−1.1%) from the 8,910 counted in the 2000 census.
Middlesex College,formerly Middlesex County College,is a public community college with its main campus in Edison,New Jersey. It was founded by the Middlesex County Board of Elected Freeholders in 1964 and serves the needs of Middlesex County as well as surrounding communities.
