Jonathan Donald Stanhope is a former Australian politician who was Labor Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory from 2001 to 2011. Stanhope represented the Ginninderra electorate in the ACT Legislative Assembly from 1998 until 2011. He is the only ACT Chief Minister to have governed with a majority in the ACT Assembly. From 2012 to 2014 Stanhope was Administrator of the Australian Indian Ocean Territories, which consists of Christmas Island and Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

Trevor Thomas Kaine, was an Australian politician who served as Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory from 1989 to 1991. Kaine was elected into a multi-member single electorate in the unicameral Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly, from 1989 to 2001, initially as a member of the Liberal Party and later as an independent.
Melinda Jane Pavey, an Australian politician, is the New South Wales Minister for Water, Property and Housing since April 2019 in the second Berejiklian ministry and the Perrottet ministry. Pavey has been a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly since 2015, representing the seat of Oxley for The Nationals. Elections to the Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly were held on Saturday, 16 October 2004. The incumbent Labor Party, led by Jon Stanhope, was challenged by the Liberal Party, led by Brendan Smyth. Candidates were elected to fill three multi-member electorates using a single transferable vote method, known as the Hare-Clark system. The result was a clear majority of nine seats in the 17-member unicameral Assembly for Labor. It marked the first and so far only time in the history of ACT self-government that one party was able to win a majority in its own right. Stanhope was elected Chief Minister at the first sitting of the sixth Assembly on 4 November 2004. The election was conducted by the ACT Electoral Commission and was the second time in Australia's history that an electronic voting and counting system was used for some, but not all, polling places, expanding on the initial trial of the system at the 2001 ACT election.
Anthony John Roberts is an Australian politician. He is the New South Wales Minister for Planning and the Minister for Homes in the Perrottet ministry since December 2021. Roberts is a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing Lane Cove for the Liberal Party since 2003.
The Molonglo electorate was one of the three electorates for the unicameral 17-member Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly between 1995 and 2016. It had seven seats, and was the largest of the three electorates in terms of population.

Louise Littlewood is an Australian politician and was a member of the Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly representing the multi-member electorate of Brindabella for the Liberal Party. Littlewood was elected following a recount of ballot papers to fill a casual vacancy resulting from the resignation of Tony De Domenico in the third ACT Legislative Assembly. Littlewood was sworn into the Assembly on 18 February 1997. Littlewood contested the 1998 ACT general election, however, was unsuccessful in retaining her seat.
Marion Reilly is an Australian politician and was a member of the Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly representing the multi-member single electorate of Molonglo for the Labor Party. Reilly was elected following a recount of ballot papers to fill a casual vacancy resulting from the resignation of Terry Connolly in the third ACT Legislative Assembly. Reilly was sworn into the Assembly on 26 March 1996. Reilly contested the 1998 ACT general election, however, was unsuccessful in retaining her seat. She contested the results of the 2001 ACT general election, and was once again unsuccessful in being elected to the Assembly.
Sophie Cotsis is an Australian politician. She was a Labor member of the New South Wales Legislative Council from 7 September 2010 to 16 September 2016, when she resigned in order to contest a by-election for the Legislative Assembly seat of Canterbury.
The Burke Ministry was the ministry of the sixth Chief Minister of the Northern Territory, Denis Burke. It was sworn in on 9 February 1999, following the resignation of former Chief Minister Shane Stone the previous day. While Stone told the media that his resignation was "pretty much" of his own timing and he wished to give the new CLP leader sufficient time to prepare for the 2001 election, it followed a meeting of backbenchers and some cabinet ministers advocating his removal. Burke was elected unopposed as leader. It was in office until 26 August 2001, when the Burke government lost the 2001 election to Clare Martin's Labor Party.
