Jadwiga Szoszler-Wilejto (born 22 January 1949) is a former Polish female Archer. She represented Poland at the Olympics on three occasions (1972, 1976 and in 1980). [1] [2]

Jadwiga, also known as Hedwig, was the first woman to be crowned as monarch of the Kingdom of Poland. She reigned from 16 October 1384 until her death. Born a Lithuanian polytheist, he converted to Catholicism in 1386 and was baptized as Ladislaus in Kraków, married the young Queen Jadwiga, and was crowned King of Poland as Władysław II Jagiełło. In 1387, he converted Lithuania to Catholicism. His own reign in Poland started in 1399, upon the death of Queen Jadwiga, lasted a further thirty-five years, and laid the foundation for the centuries-long Polish–Lithuanian union. He was a member of the Jagiellonian dynasty in Poland that bears his name and was previously also known as the Gediminid dynasty in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The dynasty ruled both states until 1572, and became one of the most influential dynasties in late medieval and early modern Europe.

Margaret Ann Shurrock is a former New Zealand female archer. She competed in the 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics in the individual competitions for women. She was ranked 24th in the women's individual archery at the 1984 Olympics, and in the 1988 Olympics she was ranked 36th in the final standings. Shurrock also represented New Zealand at the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, where she finished fourth in the women's individual archery competition.
