Jahan Pyar Mile is a 1969 Hindi film directed by Lekh Tandon. The film stars Shashi Kapoor and Hema Malini. The film's music is by Shankar Jaikishan. [1] Sharda won the 1970 Filmfare Best Female Playback Award for the song "Baat Zara Hai Aapas Ki". [2]

Shashi Kapoor was an Indian actor and film producer. Recipient of several accolades, including four National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards, Kapoor predominantly worked in Hindi films. He also featured in a number of English-language films produced by Merchant-Ivory. For his contributions to film, the Government of India honored him with the Padma Bhushan in 2011, and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2014.

Hema Malini is an Indian actress, writer, director, producer, dancer and politician. In 1962, she made her acting debut in the Tamil film Ithu Sathiyam. Malini first acted in a main role in Sapno Ka Saudagar (1968), and went on to feature in numerous Bollywood films, primarily as the lead actress. In most of her films, she starred opposite her husband Dharmendra and with Rajesh Khanna and Dev Anand. Malini was initially promoted as the "Dream Girl", and in 1977 starred in a film of the same name. She has played both comic and dramatic roles, as well as being a dancer. She has appeared in more than 150 films.

Shankar Jaikishan Indian jazz musician and composer duo

Shankar Jaikishan, were a popular and successful Indian composer duo of the Hindi film industry, working together from 1949 to 1971. They are considered to be among the best composers of the Hindi film industry. Later, Shankar continued to function as a Music Director alone, still giving music under the banner Shankar-Jaikishan, till 1987.

The 23rd Filmfare Awards were held on March 30, 1976. Ramesh Sippy's Sholay, Bollywood's most famous film, went home with just one win out of several nominations. Yash Chopra's Deewaar was the big winner on the night, winning Best Picture and Best Director, among several other awards. Shashi Kapoor won his sole acting Filmfare award, as Best Supporting Actor in Deewaar.
