Jakkampudi Raja Indravandit (born 1989) is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh. He won the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election on YSR Congress Party ticket from Rajanagaram Constituency in East Godavari district. [1] He is nominated again by YSRCP to contest the Rajanagaram seat in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election. [2]

Early life and education

Raja was born in Rajanagaram to Jakkampudi Rammohan Rao and Vijayalakshmi. His father Jakkampudi Rammohan Rao was a three-time MLA and a former Minister of Roads and Buildings in 2004, and as excise minister later. He completed MBA from GITAM University through distance education course. He belongs to Kapu community. [3]

Career

Following in the footsteps of his father, Raja started his political journey with YSR Congress Party. Before getting elected as MLA, he served as the president of the YSRCP youth wing. [4] He is one of the young brigade who made their debut in the Assembly. [5] He won the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election on YSRCP ticket from Rajanagaram Constituency defeating Pendurthi Venkatesh of TDP by a margin of 31,772 votes. [6] He was nominated as Andhra Pradesh Kapu Corporation chairman in July 2019. [7]

He won the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election on YSR Congress Party ticket from Chintalapudi SC reserved constituency in Eluru district. He defeated Karra Raja Rao of Telugu Desam Party by a margin of 36,175 votes. After he was dropped for the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election, he joined the Indian National Congress party which nominated him to contest from the same seat for the 2024 assembly election.

Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh. He won the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election on Telugu Desam Party ticket from Visakhapatnam South constituency in Visakhapatnam district. He defeated Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao of YSR Congress Party by a margin of 3,729 votes. He later resigned from TDP and shifted to YSR Congress party and is nominated to contest from the same seat representing YSRCP in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election.

Annamreddy Adeep Raj is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh.
