Jalen Tyrese Finch (born June 25, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for Brussels Basketball of the BNXT League. He played college basketball for the Florida SouthWestern, Jacksonville State and Georgia Southern. After going undrafted, Finch launched his professional career in Europe.
Finch played his prep career at Broughton High School, where he earned Second Team All-District 5 honors as a senior.
Finch began his college career at Florida SouthWestern State College (2018–2020), playing 64 games and starting 49. As a sophomore, he averaged 9.9 points and 5.1 assists, earning First Team All-Conference honors and leading FSW to a 24–0 record and a second straight Suncoast Conference title. He helped the team to a fifth-place finish in the NJCAA National Tournament.
He transferred to Jacksonville State University for the 2020–22 seasons, starting all 58 games. He averaged 9.9 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 rebounds, helping JSU win the 2021–22 ASUN Conference regular-season title and earn an NCAA Tournament berth. He scored 17 points vs. Auburn in the first round.
In 2022–23, Finch played his final season at Georgia Southern University, starting all 33 games. He averaged 10.6 points and 3.5 assists, ranked second in the Sun Belt Conference in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.1), and became the first Eagle with 100+ assists in a season since Tookie Brown.
After going undrafted in 2023, Finch began his professional career in Europe with KK Sloboda Užice. [1] Despite the team’s struggles, he emerged as their top performer—leading in points, assists, minutes, three-pointers, and free throws.
In 2024, he signed with Brussels Basketball in the BNXT League. He led the team in both scoring and assists during the regular season and helped them reach the Belgian playoffs, where they were eliminated in the quarterfinals. That summer, he extended his contract with the club for another year.
