James Albury (born 1 April 1986 in Brisbane, Queensland) is an Australian pitcher for the Brisbane Bandits and the Oakland County Cruisers.
Albury was signed as a 17-year-old to the Boston Red Sox by Jon Deeble in 2003. He played two seasons with the GCL Red Sox going 5–0 with a 1.15 ERA in his first season. However, James struggled in his second season putting up 2–2 with a 4.83 ERA and was released at the end of 2005. James continued baseball in Australia with the Queensland Rams and played in the Greater Brisbane League with the Redlands Rays before playing in the Frontier League with the Midwest Sliders in 2008 making the Frontier League East All-Star team. [1] In his second season with the Sliders, Albury was signed by Chicago Whitesox and played one season with their affiliate, the Kannapolis Intimidators, posting 5–2 with a 4.79 ERA. [2]
In 2010, Albury went back to the Frontier League, but with Oakland County. He was then named in the inaugural Bandits team for the 2010–11 Australian Baseball League season. James had the honour of starting the first ever Brisbane game since the previous Brisbane Bandits in 1998. In a tight contest against the Perth Heat, he threw 5 innings for 4 hits ending in a no decision for him. Albury started in all nine series for the Bandits, but failed to control the ball in the later parts of the season landing him a 3–5 record with a 6.12 ERA. [3]
David Wayne Nilsson is an Australian former professional baseball catcher and current manager of the Australia national baseball team and the Brisbane Bandits. He played for Major League Baseball's Milwaukee Brewers from 1992 to 1999 and was an All-Star in 1999, becoming the first Australian player to appear in an All-Star game. He ended his Major League career on 3 October 1999 with 837 games played, 789 hits, 105 home runs and a .284 career batting average.
Travis Jarred Blackley is an Australian former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners, San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics, Houston Astros, and Texas Rangers. Blackley also played in the KBO League for the Kia Tigers, in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, in the Mexican Baseball League (LMB) for the Pericos de Puebla, in Liga Mexicana del Pacifico on the Aguilas de Mexicali and the Naranjeros de Hermosillo and the Brisbane Bandits & Melbourne Aces of the Australian Baseball League (ABL). Travis currently plays club ball for the Twin City Baseball Club in the Gold Coast Baseball Association Division 1 winter league.
Ryan Benjamin Rowland-Smith is an Australian former professional baseball pitcher. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners and Arizona Diamondbacks. Rowland-Smith also represented Australia in the World Baseball Classic three times and in the 2004 Summer Olympics.

The Oakland County Cruisers were a professional baseball team based in Waterford Township, Michigan, in the United States. They were a member of the East Division of the Frontier League, which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball. The team became the London Rippers in 2012.
Drew Roy Naylor is an Australian former professional baseball pitcher. Naylor pitched for the Chunichi Dragons of Nippon Professional Baseball from 2015 to 2016. He played in the minor league system of the Philadelphia Phillies Major League Baseball franchise, as well as stints with the Brisbane Bandits in the Australian Baseball League and the Kagawa Olive Guyners in the independent Shikoku Island League Plus. He was also selected to represent Australia at the 2009 World Baseball Classic.
Andrew Scott Bailey is an American former professional baseball pitcher and current pitching coach for the Boston Red Sox. As a player, he played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Oakland Athletics, Los Angeles Angels, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, and Philadelphia Phillies. He played college baseball for Wagner College and was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the sixth round of the 2006 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2009 and won that season's American League Rookie of the Year Award. He was an All-Star in 2009 and 2010 while he was the closer for the Athletics. He has also been a pitching coach for the San Francisco Giants.

Rory Elias Rhodes is a former Australian professional baseball infielder. He has played for the Minnesota Twins organisation and for the Brisbane Bandits in Australia. Rhodes is one of the tallest players in the Australian Baseball League and the tallest position player at 208 cm (6'10") and although primarily is a third baseman, plays first base regularly.
