James Baird (born 25 May 1983) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He works as head coach for the British virgin islands women's national team.
After moving between a number of Scottish clubs, including Alloa Athletic, [1] Faroese clubs and Trinidad and Tobago Professional Football League club Tobago United. [2] He moved to Iceland in May 2017 to sign with Snæfell/UDN. [3]
Baird made four appearances for Scotland U17 in 2001 and 2002.[ citation needed ]
Baird trained with the British Virgin Islands national team and played for the under 23's in a small local tournament but after eligibility problems, decided against representing the senior side. [4] There has been rumours of a return in 2016 for the Caribbean cup. [5] Baird is also the Technical Director and goalkeeper for the West Indies Football Association. [6]
All throughout Baird's career he has also coached whilst playing, as a young player helping out with his hometown club Broxburn Colts goalkeepers to working with Coerver as Gk coach.[ citation needed ] His first real coaching role was with MB1905 ladies team where he coached whilst playing for the club, The team did well getting promotion to the top woman's division.[ citation needed ] Baird has also coached T&T Highlanders, The West Indies National team and Guaya United in the Trinidad and Tobago Super league.
In summer 2021 Baird was appointed goalkeeper coach of the Trinidad and Tobago women's national team. [7]

The TT Premier Football League is the Trinidad and Tobago professional league for association football clubs. It is the country's primary football competition and serves as the top division in the Trinidad and Tobago football league system. Contested by ten clubs, the league is one of the world's few football leagues that does not operate on an automatic system of promotion and relegation. Seasons run from September to May, with teams playing 18 games each totaling 90 games in the season. Most games are played in the evenings of Fridays and Saturdays, with a few games played during weekday evenings. Collin Andrew Samuel CM is a Trinidad and Tobago former professional footballer who played as a winger or striker. He represented Trinidad and Tobago at senior international level and played in the 2006 World Cup. He played abroad professionally for a number of clubs in Scotland, including Falkirk, Dundee United and St Johnstone, as well as Toronto FC in Canada and Luton Town in England.

Dennis William Lawrence CM is a Trinidad and Tobago former professional footballer and current first-team coach at Coventry City. He was the manager of the Trinidad and Tobago national team from 2017 to 2019. Prior to coaching, he had a successful playing career in England, Wales and Trinidad and Tobago. He lifted the Caribbean Cup with the Soca Warriors and won several cup competitions with Wrexham before winning a league title with Swansea City. Before moving to Everton, he had coached for three years at Wigan Athletic during which time he became the first Trinidadian to win the FA Cup.
Clayton Ince CM is a Trinidadian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper and had lengthy spells in the English Football League at Crewe Alexandra and Walsall. He is his country's most capped goalkeeper with 79 caps for Trinidad and Tobago to date, his debut coming on 17 April 1994 against Martinique.
Kieron Adrian Pollard is a Trinidadian former cricketer, who captained the West Indies cricket team in limited overs cricket. He currently plays in various T20 leagues around the globe as an all-rounder. He also captains MI Emirates and MI New York in the SA20 and MLC respectively. He was part of the 2012 ICC World T20 winning team for West Indies.

Cricket West Indies (CWI) is the governing body for cricket in the West Indies. It was originally formed in the early 1920s as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control, but changed its name to West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in 1996. In November 2015, the Board resolved to rename itself as Cricket West Indies as part of a restructuring exercise that would also see the creation of a separate commercial body. This rebranding formally occurred in May 2017.

The 2007 CFU Club Championship was the annual international football club competition held in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) region. Nineteen teams were to compete in the tournament, from November 4 to November 16 in six venues in Trinidad and Tobago. The first round consisted of five groups played in a round-robin format. The first round group winners along with the three best second-place teams advanced to the quarterfinals. The Caribbean Tournament Champion qualified to the 2008 CONCACAF Champions Cup.
Jan-Michael Grantley Williams is a Trinidadian football coach and former player who works as goalkeeper coach for HFX Wanderers. A former goalkeeper, he made 80 appearances for the Trinidad and Tobago national team and played professionally in Trinidad, Belgium, Hungary, Honduras, Guatemala and Canada.
