Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in Bermuda, a British Overseas Territory, face legal challenges not experienced by non-LGBT residents. Homosexuality is legal in Bermuda, but the territory has long held a reputation for being homophobic and intolerant. Since 2013, the Human Rights Act has prohibited discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.

Dame Flora Jane Duffy is a Bermudian professional triathlete. She won a gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Bermuda's first gold medal. She also competed in the Beijing, London, and Rio de Janeiro Olympics. In 2018, she won gold in the women's triathlon at the XXI Commonwealth Games in Australia. She also won gold in the same event at the XXII Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in 2022.
Bermuda sent a delegation to compete at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, from 7–23 February 2014. This was Bermuda's seventh appearance at a Winter Olympic Games, and cross-country skier Tucker Murphy's second consecutive Games as the only athlete. In the 15 kilometre race, he finished in 84th place.
Sir David Gibbons KBE, JP was a Bermudian politician and businessman. He served as Minister of Health from 1974 to 1975, Minister of Finance from 1975 to 1985 and ultimately as Premier between 1977 and 1982 for the United Bermuda Party. Gibbons alswo was member of the House of Assembly of Bermuda. During his term as Premier he had to deal with large-scale riots in 1977 and a general strike in 1981. He is recognized as one of the architects of modern Bermuda, laying the foundations for the offshore financial industry and reinsurance sector.
Nikki Butterfield is a professional triathlete and former road cyclist from Australia. She represented her nation at the 2007 and 2008 UCI Road World Championships.

He is the 2021 Ironman World Champion at the first World Championship held at Saint George, Utah on May 7, 2022. On 5 June 2022, Blummenfelt became the first person to complete an Ironman-distance triathlon in under seven hours during the Pho3nix Sub-7 Sub-8 event at the Lausitzring race track in Germany. Blummenfelt set a new unofficial world record for the Ironman-distance triathlon, in a time of 6:44:25.

Taahira Naeema Butterfield is a Bermudan sprinter, who won two gold medals at the 2015 Island Games, and two silver medals at the 2017 Island Games. She has also competed at the CARIFTA Games, as well as the Central American and Caribbean Junior Championships in Athletics and the World Youth Championships in Athletics. She attends University at Albany, SUNY, where she competes as part of the Albany Great Danes.
Kacy Milan Butterfield is a Bermudian professional footballer who plays for Northern Premier League Premier Division club Basford United. Butterfield also plays for the Bermuda national football team.
The Bermuda Triangle Challenge (BTC) is a road race event held on the island of Bermuda. The marathon has been held since 1975, while the challenge was created in 2008. The three-day running challenge takes place throughout Bermuda and includes a mile run on Friday evening, either the 10K run or walk on Saturday morning, and either the half or full marathon on Sunday.
