James Edwin Graham Logan (born 12 October 1997) is an English professional cricketer who played for Kent between 2021 and 2023,and Yorkshire between 2018 and 2020. [1]
Logan was born in Wakefield,West Yorkshire and played for Yorkshire's age group and Academy teams,as well as the club's Second XI. [1] A slow left-arm orthodox spin bowler,he made his first-class debut for Yorkshire in the 2018 County Championship on 24 September 2018. [2]
In his second first-class match against Warwickshire played at York's Clifton Park Ground in June 2019,Logan took four wickets for 22 runs in Warwickshire's second innings. [3]
He was released by Yorkshire when his contract expired at the end of the 2020 season having played only twice for the county's First XI, [4] [5] and signed a two-month contract with Kent in June 2021 after impressing playing in the county's Second XI. [6] [7] He made his Twenty20 debut on 9 June 2021,taking 1/14 from three overs on debut, [8] and his List A debut on 22 July in the 2021 Royal London One-Day Cup. [9] On 27 July 2021,Logan signed a two-year contract extension with Kent. [10]
After playing a total of 12 matches for Kent during the 2021,Logan was unable to break into the First XI in either of the following seasons,although he played regularly for the county's Second XI. [4] At the end of the 2023 season he was released by Kent. [11]

Simon Christopher Kerrigan is a retired English cricketer who last played for Northamptonshire. He bowled slow left arm orthodox spin. Kerrigan signed for Lancashire in September 2008,and made his debut for the first team in 2010,filling in for Gary Keedy,Lancashire's senior spinner. In August 2011,Kerrigan was selected for the England Lions for the first time. The following month he took the best first-class bowling figures for Lancashire since 1953 and that year Lancashire won the County Championship for the first time since 1950.

Karl Carver is an English first-class cricketer. A left-handed batsman and slow left arm orthodox bowler,Carver was previously contracted to Yorkshire County Cricket Club,for whom he played his debut first-class match in 2014. In July 2021,Carver signed with Warwickshire to play for the side for three weeks during the 2021 Royal London One-Day Cup.

He received a Half-Palatinate for his cricketing activities at university.

The 2020 Bob Willis Trophy was a first-class cricket tournament held in the 2020 English cricket season,and the inaugural edition of the Bob Willis Trophy. It was separate from the County Championship,which was not held in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom. The eighteen county cricket teams were split into three regional groups of six,with the two group winners with the most points advancing to a final held at Lord's. The maximum number of overs bowled in a day was reduced from 96 to 90,and the team's first innings could be no longer than 120 overs.

Bailey John Wightman is an English-born Australian cricketer. He made his first-class cricket debut for Kent County Cricket Club against Sussex on 12 July 2021 in the 2021 County Championship. Wightman made his debut as a second-day replacement for Nathan Gilchrist who had been asked to self-isolate following a close contact testing positive for COVID-19. Wightman was the sixth Kent debutant in the match. Five other players made their debut on the first day of the match,following another member of the county's First XI squad testing positive for COVID-19,which required the players involved in the county's previous match to all self-isolate. As a result,a number of Second XI players or "homegrown prospects" were drafted into the squad and made their senior debuts for the county.

In June 2023,Billings stepped down as captain in the County Championship for the remainder of the season after a run of poor form in the format,with Jack Leaning taking over the captaincy. Ryan ten Doeschate left his position as batting coach after a single season with Kent,to take up a role with the Kolkata Knight Riders. Former Worcestershire head coach Alex Gidman joined Kent as a replacement for ten Doeschate.
