James Bouvias Pruitt [1] (born January 29, 1964) is a former professional American football wide receiver who played six seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the Miami Dolphins from 1986 to 1988 and 1990 to 1991, [2] and the Indianapolis Colts from 1988 to 1989. [3] He was selected by the Dolphins in the fourth round of the 1986 NFL draft. [4] He finished his career in the Canadian Football League (CFL) playing for the Ottawa Rough Riders and Sacramento Gold Miners. [5]
