James M'William Tennent (7 September 1888 – 20 March 1955) [1] was a Scottish international rugby and cricket player. [2]
Tennent was capped twice for Scotland between 1909 and 1910. [2] His most successful match in his international career was against France at Inverleith on 22 January 1910, in which he scored three tries. [3] He also played for West of Scotland RFC. [2]
Tennent also played for the Scotland national cricket team. [2]
Watsonian Football Club is a rugby union club based in Edinburgh and part of the Scottish Rugby Union. The club is connected with George Watson's College as a club for former pupils, and changed its policy in the 1980s to be a fully open club, welcoming players of all abilities regardless of whether they attended the school or not.
