Jamey Richard (born October 9, 1984) is a former American football center. He was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL draft. [1] He played college football at the University at Buffalo.
Richard is the first player from Weston High School to ever play football professionally.
He was named Male Student-Athlete of the Year at Buffalo following his senior season.
Richard got his first NFL start September 7, 2008, against the Chicago Bears. He replaced Jeff Saturday at center who was injured. On December 28, 2008, against the Tennessee Titans he confidently secured a loose football in the end zone against the visiting Titans, capping a 23-0 shutout. [2] Richard was named to PFW's All-Rookie team for his role on the interior offensive line for the Colts.
On September 12, 2011, he was waived by the Colts.[ citation needed ] Jameson Richard was re-signed by the Indianapolis Colts. [3]
Richard was signed to the New England Patriots on May 25, 2012. [4] He was placed on injured reserve on August 2 after suffering a concussion during training camp.
Matthew Michael Hasselbeck is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Boston College Eagles and was selected in the sixth round of the 1998 NFL draft by the Green Bay Packers. After a season on the practice squad and two seasons backing up Brett Favre, he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 2001, where he spent the majority of his career. Hasselbeck led Seattle to six playoff appearances, including the franchise’s first Super Bowl appearance during the 2005 season. He was selected to three Pro Bowls in his career. Reginald Wayne is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver for 14 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes, and was selected by the Colts in the first round of the 2001 NFL draft with the 30th overall pick. A six-time Pro Bowl selection, Wayne was a member of the Colts' Super Bowl XLI. He ranks second in Colts' franchise history to Marvin Harrison in major receiving categories: receptions, receiving yards, targets, and receiving touchdowns.
