Janardhana Maharshi (born 16 May) is an Indian film director, poet, producer and writer who works predominantly in Telugu cinema and Kannada cinema. He directed Sloka, Devasthanam, and Viswadarshanam .

Early life

Maharshi was born in Kandukuru, Prakasham district and completed his schooling and higher education in Chittoor. He became a script assistant to Tanikella Bharani in 1989.

Personal life

He married Lakshmi Sunitha in 1995. The couple have two daughters. He resides in Ameerpet, Hyderabad.
