Jane Wanjiku Gakunyi (born 14 June 1979) is a Kenyan long-distance runner.
At the 2003 World Cross Country Championships she finished third in the short race, while the Kenyan team, of which Wanjiku was a part, won the team competition. She finished ninth at the 2004 World Cross Country Championships, but this was not enough to win a medal with the team.
She is not to be confused with Jane Wanjiku Ngotho, a Kenyan runner and world junior champion from 1988.
Edith Chewanjel Masai is a Kenyan former long-distance runner who specialised in cross country and track races, then road races in her late career. She represented Kenya at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Her best achievements are three individual gold medals in the short race at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships between 2002 and 2004.
Priscah Jepleting Cherono, née Ngetich is a Kenyan professional runner who specialises in the 5000 metres and cross-country running. She represented Kenya in the 5000 m at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She is the Kenyan record holder over the two miles distance.

She also won medals over the distance at the 2006 African Championships in Athletics, the 2007 All-Africa Games and 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Nebiat Habtemariam Measho is an Eritrean long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon. She was the first woman to represent Eritrea at the Olympics. Earlier in her career, she ran the 5000 metres and cross-country running. She is a three-time participant at the Summer Olympics. She has a marathon best of 2:32:04 hours set at the 2008 Hamburg Marathon, where she was seventh.

She was three times a team medalist at the competition for Kenya, winning gold in 1991 and 1995 then finally silver in 2001.
Ann Karindi Mwangi is a Kenyan middle- and long-distance runner. She was a team gold medallist at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in 2009 and represented her country at the 2011 All-Africa Games.
Jane Moraa Omoro is a Kenyan long-distance runner who competed in cross country, track and road running events, up to the marathon. She was active from 1993 to 2007, with most of her success coming in the 1990s.
Teresa Wanjiku Mbugua is a Kenyan long-distance runner who competed in road running and cross country running disciplines. She ran distances from the 10K run to the marathon and was active from 1997 to 2011.
