Jangipur or Zangipur is a town and a nagar panchayat in Ghazipur district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. [1] Zangipur is Famous For IMAM UNIVERSITY ZANGIPUR -WORLD'S FIRST INTERNATIONAL OPEN ONLINE SHIA UNIVERSITYFounded by Syed Raza Imam Rizvi Zangipuri (An Shia Orator, Cleric, Scholar, Educationist, Preacher, Author, Writer & Poet) Along with his Brothers Syed Jawad Imam Rizvi Zangipuri (An Poet) & Syed Razi Imam Rizvi Zangipuri

The town is Notable for the Khandaan-e-Ustaad family, which has produced several Distinguished Religious Scholars, Poets, and Professionals, including prominent Ayatollahs, Allamahs, Maulanas, and Zakirs.
