Southeast High School is a high school in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma that opened in 1950. Janette Miiko "Janie" Takeda-Reed is an American, former collegiate All-American, medal-winning Olympian, professional softball outfielder. She played college softball at Oregon, where she earned three First Team All-Pac-12 honors. She also was named a First Team and Second Team All-American three of her four years. She is a member of the elite 300 hits, 200 runs, 100 stolen base club. Takeda-Reed since graduating competes for the Team USA softball team and competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal.
Raymond Leslie Puckett is a former New Zealand distance runner, who represented his country at the Olympic Games in 1960 and 1964, and at the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games. Coached by Arthur Lydiard, Puckett was the first New Zealander to complete a marathon in under two hours and 30 minutes.
The 2001–02 Washington Huskies men's basketball team represented the University of Washington for the 2001–02 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Led by ninth-year head coach Bob Bender, the Huskies were members of the Pacific-10 Conference and played their home games on campus at Hec Edmundson Pavilion in Seattle, Washington.
