It was released on November 16, 1988. The album features live versions of the band's most popular songs from previous four studio albums and also includes a new studio track entitled "Walk Away". The song was accompanied with a music video, which featured members of the band performing atop the Santa Monica Mountains overlooking Topanga Canyon and the Pacific Ocean. This album captures the reunited Dokken minus guitarist George Lynch at the Sun Theater in Anaheim, CA, on November 4, 1999, running through a live set of mostly greatest hits plus two songs from the then-recently released Erase the Slate album. A video of the performance was also released both on VHS and DVD formats.

Up from the Ashes is the second solo studio album by Don Dokken, best known as the lead singer of Dokken. The sound of the album was similar to the hard rock style of Dokken's work with his former band. The album did not quite achieve the commercial success achieved by Dokken, but it did reach the Top 50 on the Billboard 200 album chart in the US. The line-up for this album consisted of Don Dokken performing vocals, John Norum formerly of Europe on lead guitar, Billy White formerly of Watchtower on lead guitar, Peter Baltes formerly of Accept on bass, and Mikkey Dee formerly of King Diamond and pre-Motörhead on drums. The original drummer for the Don Dokken band was Hempo Hildén, formerly in John Norum's band but he was replaced after a few photo sessions and does not play on the album. The music videos for the songs "Stay" and "Mirror Mirror" received airplay on MTV's Headbanger's Ball. "When Love Finds a Fool" was co-written with former Deep Purple and Black Sabbath singer Glenn Hughes, who also provided backing vocals for the song.

One Live Night is a 1996 semi-acoustic live album by heavy metal band Dokken. The reunited Dokken recorded the album before a live audience at The Strand, an intimate concert venue in Redondo Beach, California, on December 13, 1994 and prior to their 1995 tour. The album went virtually unheard at the time of its release. Released at the time when grunge and alternative rock were dominating mainstream rock music, MTV had no interest in featuring glam metal acts; so Dokken decided to do their own "unplugged" album. This intimate performance included versions of "Tooth and Nail", "Into the Fire" and "Alone Again", as well as covers of the Beatles' "Nowhere Man" and Emerson, Lake & Palmer's "From the Beginning".

Mark Boals

Mark Robert Boals is an American singer songwriter for the band Foundry. He is a heavy metal vocalist and occasional bassist, best known for his vocals with Yngwie Malmsteen. His first album with Malmsteen, Trilogy achieved platinum status in the USA and sold several million copies worldwide. As a young child, he learned to play the piano and bass guitar. Although Boals has never had any vocal lessons or training, as a teenager he gained experience as a vocalist in local groups. Boals is the founder and vocalist for the band Ring of Fire, and had a brief stint as the bassist for Dokken. He currently performs lead vocals, guitar and bass in the hit musical show, Raiding the Rock Vault in Las Vegas.
