Jason Michael Finch (born 27 September 1969) is an English former cricketer. Finch played as a right-handed batsman,who began as a wicket-keeper and went on to play List A cricket as a batsman and an off-break bowler. He was born at Hastings,Sussex
Finch played for Sussex County Cricket Club's Second XI,including in fixtures against Oxford and Cambridge University and the Combined Services in 1990 and 1991,and for Sussex Cricket Board in three List A matches in 2001 and 2002. [1] Growing up,Finch played in all the Sussex age groups and was selected for England under-15 and under-17 sides. In 1998 he played for the British Police. Finch played club cricket for Hastings and St Leonards Priory Cricket Club in the Sussex Cricket League where he has won seven premier league titles.
His son,Harry Finch,has played first-class cricket for Sussex and Kent County Cricket Clubs.
Sussex County Cricket Club is the oldest of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Sussex. Michael Howard Yardy is an English cricket coach and former professional cricketer who played limited over internationals for the England cricket team between 2006 and 2015. He played as a left-handed batsman and captained Sussex County Cricket Club. His unusual batting technique attracted a great deal of attention due to a pronounced shuffle from leg to off immediately prior to the bowler releasing the ball. Yardy also bowled slow left arm with a characteristic round armed action,and was used as a bowling all-rounder in England's One Day International and Twenty20 International teams. Yardy retired from professional cricket at the end of the 2015 season. Yardy was a member of the England team that won the 2010 ICC World Twenty20.
Jason Lewry is an English former cricketer. He was a left-handed batsman and a left-arm fast-medium bowler. Born in Worthing,he played for Sussex from the beginning of his career in 1994 until his retirement in 2009,a career spanning 16 years,in spite of numerous injuries.
Aaron James Finch is a former Australian international cricketer who served as the captain of the Australian cricket team in ODI and T20I cricket. In domestic cricket,he currently plays for and captains the San Francisco Unicorns of Major League Cricket Finch currently holds the record for two of the three highest individual scores in Twenty20 Internationals (T20I),his score of 172 against Zimbabwe in July 2018 beating his previous record of 156 against England in 2013. He is also a part time commentator with Fox Cricket and Triple M. Finch has played domestically for Victoria and Melbourne Renegades. He is an opening batter,and occasional left arm orthodox spinner.
