Jason Wilber is an American folk/acoustic singer, guitarist, songwriter, and recording artist. He grew up in Bloomington, Indiana. [1] [2]

Musical career

Jason Wilber has released nine CDs of mostly solo work to date. His most recent album Echoes consisted of covers of other artists' songs. [3]

His TV appearances and radio broadcasts include The Colbert Report, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Sessions At West 54th Street, The Grand Ole Opry, Live with Regis and Kathy Lee, CNN's Entertainment Week, The Road, Mountain Stage, E-Town, Austin City Limits, and The Late Show with David Letterman. Collaborations

Wilber played guitar on John Prine's Grammy Award-winning album Fair & Square [1] [4] [5] and on Prine's two Grammy Award-nominated albums Live on Tour [4] [6] and In Spite of Ourselves [4] (which spent 32 weeks on the Billboard Country Charts)[ citation needed ].

Jason has accompanied John Prine on duet recordings with Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams, Josh Ritter, Patty Loveless, Iris Dement, Trisha Yearwood, and Sara Watkins.

He has played with other artists, including John Prine, [7] Hal Ketchum, [4] [7] Greg Brown, [4] Iris DeMent, [4] [8] Todd Snider, [4] Greg Trooper, [4] Carrie Newcomer, [4] Tom Russell [9] and Tim Grimm, [4] [10] Krista Detor, Kim Fox, Bill Wilson, and Over the Rhine.

Jason Wilber served as Co-Executive Producer on the compilation CD Coal Country Music featuring Willie Nelson, Gillian Welch, Ralph Stanley, Jason and the Scorchers, Kathy Mattea, Justin Townes Earle, Natalie Merchant, Diana Jones, Tom T. Hall, Bonnie Raitt, John Prine, Jean Ritchie, and other artists, who all contributed their talents to benefit the Alliance for Appalachia's work to stop Mountain Top Removal in rural Appalachia.

John Frusciante discography

The discography of John Frusciante, who is best known as the guitarist of the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, consists of eleven solo albums, two internet only release albums, seven EPs, as well as two albums with collaborators Joe Lally and Josh Klinghoffer under the name Ataxia and two EPs and three studio albums under the alias of Trickfinger. After recording Mother's Milk and Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Frusciante left the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1992 when he got tired of the growing success of the band. He released his first solo album, Niandra LaDes and Usually Just a T-Shirt, in 1994 on American Recordings. His second record, Smile From the Streets You Hold, was released in 1997 and later taken off the market at his request in 1999. After returning to the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1998, Frusciante recorded Californication with the band and subsequently released his third solo album, To Record Only Water for Ten Days, in February 2001 on Warner Music Group.

Neilson Hubbard is an American record producer, film director, film producer, singer-songwriter, and photographer. He produced Mary Gauthier's Grammy-nominated album, Rifles & Rosary Beads, as well as albums for Sam Baker, Kim Richey, and Glen Phillips. The label has released more than 40 audio and video recordings by singer-songwriters Prine, Kris Kristofferson, Daniel "Slick" Ballinger, Shawn Camp, Dan Reeder, and Todd Snider, along with a dozen reissues of classic country music artists. Oh Boy Records also manages two subsidiary labels, Steve Goodman's Red Pajamas Records and specialty label Blue Plate Music. Oh Boy is based in Nashville, Tennessee.

Amanda Shires

Amanda Shires is an American singer-songwriter and fiddle player. Shires has released six solo albums, her most recent To the Sunset on the Silver Knife label in 2018. In 2019, she founded a country music supergroup called The Highwomen alongside Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris and Natalie Hemby. She has performed as a member of the Texas Playboys, Thrift Store Cowboys, and Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, as well as in a duo with Rod Picott. Along with Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, Shires won the Grammy Award for Best Americana Album for their 2017 album The Nashville Sound.

<i>For Better, or Worse</i> 2016 studio album by John Prine

For Better, or Worse is the seventeenth studio album by John Prine. It consists of tracks in which Prine teams with an all-star array of female singers to tackle carefully chosen vintage country tunes in duets. The album was also released in vinyl format that also included a mp3 download pass for the album. It is his first studio album release in 9 years since 2007's Standard Songs for Average People.

Philip Donnelly was a guitarist, songwriter and producer born in Clontarf, Dublin. Known as the Clontarf Cowboy he gained international recognition touring and recording with artists such as the Everly Brothers, Johnny Cash, Nanci Griffith, Townes Van Zandt, John Prine and Donovan.
