Jason Wilber is an American folk/acoustic singer, guitarist, songwriter, and recording artist. He grew up in Bloomington, Indiana. [1] [2]
Jason Wilber has released eleven CDs of mostly solo work to date. His ninth album, Echoes, consisted of covers of other artists' songs. [3] . His latest is Time Traveler, released in 2020.
His TV appearances and radio broadcasts include The Colbert Report, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Sessions At West 54th Street, The Grand Ole Opry, Live with Regis and Kathy Lee, CNN's Entertainment Week, The Road, Mountain Stage, E-Town, Austin City Limits, and The Late Show with David Letterman. Wilber played guitar on John Prine's Grammy Award-winning album Fair & Square [1] [4] [5] and on Prine's two Grammy Award-nominated albums Live on Tour [4] [6] and In Spite of Ourselves [4] (which spent 32 weeks on the Billboard Country Charts)[ citation needed ].
Jason has accompanied John Prine on duet recordings with Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams, Josh Ritter, Patty Loveless, Iris Dement, Trisha Yearwood, and Sara Watkins.

Jason Wilber served as Co-Executive Producer on the compilation CD Coal Country Music featuring Willie Nelson, Gillian Welch, Ralph Stanley, Jason and the Scorchers, Kathy Mattea, Justin Townes Earle, Natalie Merchant, Diana Jones, Tom T. Hall, Bonnie Raitt, John Prine, Jean Ritchie, and other artists, who all contributed their talents to benefit the Alliance for Appalachia's work to stop Mountain Top Removal in rural Appalachia.

Nanci Caroline Griffith was an American singer, guitarist, and songwriter. She often appeared on the PBS music program Austin City Limits starting in 1985 during Season 10. In 1990, Griffith appeared on the Channel 4 programme Town & Country with John Prine in a segment entitled "White Pants", where Nanci Griffith wore white pants at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee, along with Buddy Mondlock, Barry "Byrd" Burton, and Robert Earl Keen. In 1994, Griffith won a Grammy Award for the album Other Voices, Other Rooms.

Other Voices, Other Rooms is the tenth studio album by American singer Nanci Griffith. It was released on March 2, 1993, by Elektra Records. Her first since leaving MCA Records, it consisted entirely of cover songs, in tribute to songwriters who influenced her own songwriting. Guest artists who appear in their own compositions included Frank Christian playing guitar on "Three Flights Up", Bob Dylan playing harmonica on "Boots of Spanish Leather", and John Prine lending harmony vocals on "Speed of the Sound of Loneliness". The album was titled after the Truman Capote novel of the same name.

Fair & Square is the 15th studio album by American folk singer-songwriter John Prine, released on Oh Boy Records in 2005. It was rereleased in 2007 as a vinyl double-LP with four more bonus tracks, and in 2008 those four tracks were rereleased as an EP.
