The United States men's national rugby union team, nicknamed the Eagles, represents the United States of America Rugby Football Union in men's international rugby union. USA Rugby is the national governing body for the sport of rugby union in the United States, and is a member of Rugby Americas North, one of six regional governing bodies under World Rugby. Until rugby returned to Olympic competition, with sevens at the 2016 Rio Games, the United States was the reigning Olympic rugby champion, having won gold at the 1920 and 1924 Summer Olympics.

Pritchard is best known for his time with Bedford Blues, where he spent 12 seasons across two spells with the club, and he is the club's record points scorer with 2,883 points in all competitions, including 99 tries. He is also the RFU Championship all-time top points scorer with 2,673 points from 251 league and play-off games while playing for Bedford Blues and Plymouth Albion, as a fullback, wing or centre. Pritchard has played internationally for Canada, with whom he appeared in four Rugby World Cups, and is his countries all-time top points scorer with 607 points.

His regular position is wing, but he also plays at fullback. He has also recently featured at fly half for Toulouse in the Top 14, and as a scrum half internationally. Kolbe was a member of the South Africa Sevens team that won a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He has won the Rugby World Cup twice with South Africa, in 2019 and 2023. Kolbe was nominated for 2019 World Rugby Player of the Year but lost to teammate Pieter-Steph du Toit. He previously played for Toulouse, Toulon, Stormers, and Western Province. He has also won the Rugby Championship and the Lions Series with the Springboks, the Top14 and Champions Cup with Toulouse, the Currie Cup with Western Province, and the Challenge Cup with Toulon. He is one of the highest paid rugby players in the world, with a reported salary of between ¥130–155 million yen per season.

Nicolás Bruzzone is an Argentine rugby sevens former player. He competed for Argentina 7s at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He initially missed out on Olympic selection but was a late addition to the Argentine squad after injury woes to Javier Rojas and Rodrigo Etchart.
Germán Schulz is an Argentine rugby sevens player. He competed for Argentina 7s at the 2016 Summer Olympics and won the bronze medal in the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Santiago Álvarez Fourcade is an Argentine professional rugby union footballer who plays as a centre for Argentina club CASI. At international honors, he was capped three times in 2013 for the Argentina national rugby union team. In his early career, he was selected to play in the 2013, and 2014 IRB Junior World Championship for Argentina and took part in the Argentina XV, the second national team in Argentina.
