Jawaharlal Navoday Vidhyalay Stadium is a cricket ground near Una, Himachal Pradesh, India. The first recorded match held on the ground came in January 1999 when Bengal Under-16s played Madhya Pradesh Under-16s. [1] The ground later held a List A match in 1997 when Himachal Pradesh played the Services in the 1999/00 Ranji Trophy one-day competition. Following this match, a first-class match was played there between the two sides in the Ranji Trophy. [2] Nearly ten years later the ground held five List A matches in the 2008/09 Vijay Hazare Trophy. [3] During the competition the Services cricket team heavily criticised the grounds playing conditions, citing the outfield as bumpy and potentially dangerous. They also criticised its general facilities, including a lack of changing facilities, with both teams having to change in a partitioned tent. [4]

The farmers from not only Punjab, but also from neighboring states such as Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, etcetera travel to PAU campus to buy high-quality seeds, farm equipment and gain knowledge on new agricultural technologies in the two-day main fair event.

The ground held its first first-class match in December 1995 when Himachal Pradesh played Jammu and Kashmir in the 1995/96 Ranji Trophy. The following season a further first-class match was held when Himachal Pradesh played Haryana in the 1996/97 Ranji Trophy. Three seasons later the ground held a third first-class match between Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir in the 1999/00 Ranji Trophy. Three List A matches have also been held on the ground, with the first coming in the 1995/96 Ranji Trophy one-day competition when Himachal Pradesh played Jammu and Kashmir. The others followed when Himachal Pradesh played Haryana in the 1996/97 competition and when Himachal Pradesh played Jammu and Kashmir in the 1999/00 competition. No further major matches have been staged there.

The first List A match held on the ground came in the 1987/88 Deodhar Trophy when the North Zone played the South Zone. Himachal Pradesh first played a List A match there in 1994/95 Ranji Trophy one-day competition when Punjab were the visiting team. Between the 1994/95 season and the 1999/00 season, Himachal Pradesh played five List A fixtures there. The last game in that format to be held there came in the 2001/02 Deodhar Trophy when East Zone played the South Zone. It has 800m track.

Arlem Breweries Ground is a cricket ground in Margao, Goa, India. Established in 1976, the ground held its first first-class to be played there came in the 1985/86 Ranji Trophy when Goa played Hyderabad. Between the 1985/86 season and the 2003/04 season, the ground held twelve first-class matches. The first List A match played there came when Goa played Andhra Pradesh in the 1994/95 Ranji Trophy one-day competition. Seven further List A matches have been played on the ground, the last of which saw Goa play Karnataka in the 2004/05 Ranji Trophy one-day competition.
Dhruv Mahender Pandove was an Indian first-class cricketer who played for Punjab. He made his first-class debut at the age of 13 and was considered to be an "exceptionally gifted batsman" and a "prodigy". He became the youngest Indian and one of the youngest players in the world to score a century in first-class cricket, with his 137 against Jammu and Kashmir in 1988 coming at the age of 14 years and 294 days. He was the youngest player to reach the 1000-run mark in Ranji Trophy, reaching the milestone at the age of 17 years and 341 days.
Rajeev Nayyar is a former Indian first-class cricketer who played for Himachal Pradesh. In 1999, he set the record for the longest first-class innings of all time by batting for 1,015 minutes in a Ranji Trophy match against Jammu and Kashmir.
