Jay Henderson (born 21 February 2002) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays for Scottish Premiership club Ross County as a midfielder.

Career

Raised in Kilmarnock, Henderson began his career in the youth system at St Mirren; [2] he was loaned to Clyde in September 2020. [3] He made his first team debut for St Mirren in a 10 Scottish Premiership defeat to Motherwell on 10 April 2021. [4]

On 30 December 2022, Henderson joined Scottish Championship side Inverness Caledonian Thistle on loan until the end of the season. [5] [6]

On 30 June 2023 Henderson joined Scottish Premiership side Ross County for an undisclosed fee. [7]

Personal life

His father Darren was also a footballer. [8]

Tom Walsh is a Scottish footballer who most recently played for Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Championship. He became the youngest player to make an appearance for Rangers in Scottish league football, when he played for them aged 16 in 2012. He also had loan spells with Stenhousemuir, Dumbarton and St Mirren during his Ibrox career. Since leaving Rangers, Walsh has had spells with Limerick in the League of Ireland and Dumbarton.
