Ji Mantriji is an Indian adaptation of the British satirical sitcom Yes Minister. It was telecast from 26 April 2001 on STAR Plus with permission from the BBC. Ji Mantriji features Farooq Sheikh as Surya Prakash Singh, the Minister of Administrative Affairs; and Jayant Kripalani as the department's secretary. The plot lines were the same as those of the original, with suitable changes in the Indian context. Ji Mantriji was produced by NDTV in collaboration with BBC Worldwide. The opening titles for each episode were illustrated by famous Indian cartoonist, R. K. Laxman, well known for his political cartoon series, The Common Man.

Love Story 2050 is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language science fiction-romance film starring producer Pammi Baweja and director Harry Baweja's son Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra. Some parts were filmed in Adelaide, Australia. Initially the film was supposed to release on 21 December 2007 but got postponed to 4 July 2008 due to extensive post-production work. The premiere was held on 2 July 2008 in London. The film draws a lot of similarity to the 1991 Telugu film Aditya 369; while the Telugu film dealt with travel to the past as well as dystopian post-apocalyptic future, Love Story 2050 was exclusively about travelling to a utopian future-city of Mumbai in the year 2050. It is the first utopian time travel film of Bollywood. The movie was released on 4 July 2008 and was a commercial and critical failure, with praise for its special effects, but criticism for its direction, screenplay and Harman Baweja's performance.
Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language coming of age romantic comedy film written and directed by Abbas Tyrewala and produced by Mansoor Khan and Aamir Khan under Aamir Khan Productions, with Ajay K. Bijli and Sanjeev K. Bijli of PVR Pictures acting as co-producers. Marking writer Tyrewala's full-fledged screenwriting and directorial debut, it also marks the debut of Aamir's nephew and lead actor Imran Khan with supporting actor Prateik Babbar, as well as the re-appearance of lead actress Genelia D'Souza and supporting actress Manjari Fadnis in Hindi cinema. The film's soundtrack, composed by A. R. Rahman, received high critical acclaim upon release and also was commercially successful.
Pehla Nasha is a 1993 Indian Hindi-language thriller film and the debut film of director Ashutosh Gowariker. The movie is a remake of Brian de Palma's 1984 thriller Body Double. Deepak Tijori plays the lead role alongside Pooja Bhatt, Raveena Tandon and Paresh Rawal.
