Jayendra Pratap Singh Rathore is an Indian politician. He is a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council, represents Bharatiya Janata Party. He is a Minister of State (Independent Charge) Co-operation in Second Yogi Adityanath ministry. [1] [2]

He was also incumbented as State Vice President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Shahjahanpur from 2000 to 2005. [3]

Early life

After completing his education at the primary school in his native village, Rathore pursued his intermediate studies at Government Inter College. Following this, he attended BHU for higher education, where he obtained both his B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees from IIT BHU. [4]

Political career

On 7 July 2022, the Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, appointed Jayendra Pratap Singh Rathore as the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Co-operation in the Uttar Pradesh government, as a part of his Second Yogi Adityanath ministry. [5] [6]

Personal life

Rathore was born in Mohanpur, Mamrejpur, to Balram Singh Rathore and Saroj Rathore. He was married to Priya Singh Rathore, and they have two sons. [4]

The Second ministry of Yogi Adityanath is the council of ministers in headed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, which was formed after 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election which was held in seven phases during February and March in the state. The results were declared on 10 March and this led to formation of 18th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. The swearing-in ceremony was held at BRSABV Ekana International Cricket stadium, Gomti Nagar Extension in Lucknow. The head of all the big Indian and NDA lead states along with the big businessmen's including many celebrities were invited in the ceremony. 53 ministers were given oath by the Governor.

Vijay Laxmi Gautam is an Indian politician and Minister of State in the Government of Uttar Pradesh and a member of 18th Legislative Assembly. He represents the Salempur constituency of Uttar Pradesh. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
