Jean-Pierre Genet (born 15 October 1962) is a French former international rugby union player. [1]

Born in Châtellerault, Genet was trained at Épinay-sur-Orge and spent most of his career with Racing club de France, where he played as a hooker in the 1989–90 Brennus Shield-winning side. [2]

Genet, a computer scientist, gained three France caps in 1992, debuting against Scotland at Murrayfield. [3]

The France national under-20 rugby union team, also known as France under-20s or France U20(s), is the national under-20 rugby union team of France, under the control of the French Rugby Federation. Competing in the annual Six Nations Under 20s Championship, it is considered to be the feeder team for the France national team.

Jean Pierre Clar, also known by the nicknames of "Jap", "Nam", "Le chinois" and "Tronche d'obus", is a French former professional rugby league and amateur rugby union footballer who played in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. He played representative level rugby league (RL) for France in the 1968 Rugby League World Cup and 1970 Rugby League World Cup, and at club level for US Villeneuve XIII, as a hooker or loose forward, i.e. number 9 or 13, during the era of contested scrums, and he played club level rugby union (RU) for SU Agen, as a flanker, i.e. number 6 or 7.
