Kadhal 2 Kalyanam is an unreleased Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by newcomer Milind Rau that stars debutante Sathya, brother of Tamil actor Arya, and Ramya, whilst, Jayashree, Nagendra Prasad, Kasthuri and Anuja Iyer play pivotal roles. Noted film critic Baradwaj Rangan had written the dialogues, while Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the film's score and soundtrack. The cinematography and editing were handled by P. S. Vinod and Leo John Paul, respectively. Pre-production works began by mid-2008, while the filming continued for over one year, being completed by July 2010. The film was jointly produced by Mirchi Movies and East Coast Entertainment, who are now not in the film-making business. Hence the movie remains unreleased.
Naan Mahaan Alla is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by Suseenthiran and produced by Studio Green. It stars Karthi, Kajal Aggarwal, Jayaprakash and Soori. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja with cinematography handled by R. Madhi and editing by Kasi Viswanathan. According to Eros International, it was successful at the box office.

The filming of Naan began in October 2011, and the film was released on 15 August 2012. The movie was remade in Bengali in 2015 as Amanush 2 and in Kannada in 2016 as Asthitva. The film was followed by a sequel titled Salim, an action thriller that released in 2014. The plot of the film is loosely based on 1999 American film The Talented Mr. Ripley.
Siddharth Venugopal is a former Indian actor and Assistant director who has appeared in Tamil films. He made his debut in Gandhi Krishna's romantic musical Ananda Thandavam (2009), also playing a supporting role alongside Vijay Antony in Naan (2012).
Shahir Ceetheragath, better known as Sathya, is an Indian actor, who has worked in Tamil language films. After debuting in Puthagam (2013), he made a breakthrough in Jeeva Shankar's romantic drama film Amara Kaaviyam (2014).

The movie features a successful soundtrack composed by Ghibran. It opened to positive reviews in September 2014. The film was remade in Bengali in 2020 as Love Story.

Yaman is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language political action thriller film written and directed by Jeeva Shankar. Co-produced by Lyca Productions and Vijay Antony Film Corporation, the film stars Vijay Antony in a dual role as father and son, alongside Miya, while Thiagarajan portrays another pivotal character. The film, which features Jeeva Shankar and Vijay Antony doubling up as the cinematographer and the music composer respectively, was released. The movie was a commercial success.
Vanjagar Ulagam is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film directed by Manoj Beedha in his directorial debut with dialogues written by Beedha and Vinayak. The film stars Guru Somasundaram, Ciby Bhuvana Chandran, Vishagan Vanangamudi, and Anisha Ambrose, with Chandini Tamilarasan, Hareesh Peradi, John Vijay, and Azhagam Perumal in supporting roles. The music is composed by Sam C. S. while the cinematography is handled by Rodrigo Del Rio Herrara and Saravanan Ramasamy. The film was released in India on 7 September 2018.
