John Jeffrey "Jeff" Habberstad is an American stuntman, actor, second unit director, and film director, best known of his work on the 2001-2006 show Alias , on films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe , and with director M. Night Shyamalan.
Habberstad started his career in stunts with the 1984 films The Terminator and A Nightmare on Elm Street before moving into second unit directing work.
He has been nominated for the Primetime Emmy in the Outstanding Stunt Coordination category for his work on the TV show Alias 4 times between 2002 and 2005, winning in 2003. [1] He is a member of the Blue Ribbon Committee at the Taurus World Stunt Awards. [2]

The deciding committee has been around since the year 2000. The awards were created by Dietrich Mateschitz, the founder of Red Bull. ActionFest was an annual film festival in Asheville, NC, started by Carolina Cinemas and Magnolia Pictures founder Bill Banowsky and action director/producer Aaron Norris, along with Dennis Berman and Tom Quinn. ActionFest was the first film festival in the world devoted exclusively to action film. It was also the only film festival in the world that honoring stunt performers, filling a void caused by the decision of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences not to recognize stunt men and stunt women in its Academy Awards. ActionFest's stated mission was to "recognize, honor and appreciate the remarkable efforts of these amazing people who risk their lives every day to make Hollywood films look exciting and great."

He is known for being the second unit director on Transformers: The Last Knight (2017), Star Trek Beyond (2016) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016) in addition to Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014).
