Jeffrey Wilson Tackett (born December 1,1965) is a former backup catcher for the Baltimore Orioles from 1991 to 1994. A career .217 hitter,Tackett was more renowned for his defensive skills behind the plate than for his hitting.[ citation needed ] He also made cameos as himself in the films Bob Roberts and Dave ,the latter he caught the ceremonial first pitch thrown by the president. He went to Dos Caminos grade school and Los Altos Middle School,and was a 1984 graduate of Adolfo Camarillo High School in Camarillo,California,the school at which his father Terry became the principal.
Tackett is one of a number of baseball players on the list of Major League Baseball players with a home run in their final major league at bat.

Joseph Edward Borchard is an American former Major League Baseball (MLB) outfielder. Borchard was the 12th pick of the first round in the 2000 Major League Baseball Draft out of Stanford University by the Chicago White Sox. In high school,he won a division III state football championship at Adolfo Camarillo High School as the starting quarterback. He also played quarterback for Stanford and took a $5.3 million signing bonus to play for the White Sox. The signing bonus was the highest ever given to a player for a minor league contract until Justin Upton received $6.1 million to sign with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2005.

The school is part of the Oxnard Union High School District and serves students in grades 9–12 in east Camarillo,Somis,and the Santa Rosa Valley. ACHS is named for Adolfo Camarillo,a prominent Californio ranchero and founder of the city which bears his name;he donated part of Rancho Calleguas for the high school.
