Jeffrey Michael Wittmer (born September 30, 1984) in St. Louis, Missouri is a weightlifter for the United States.
Getting his start in his basement gym Jeff won his first 50 competitions. Jeff is featured on the cover of the book Explosive Lifting for Sports by Harvey Newton. [1] He holds multiple national titles and records. Jeff graduated from Hazelwood West High School in 2003. After graduation, he accepted an invitation to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. [2] At the 2006 World Championships he ranked 26th in the 94 kg category, with a total of 338 kg. [3]
His most notable performances include 5th place at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. [4] He won a silver, and two bronze medals at the 2008 Pan American Championships in Callao, Peru, in the 94 kg category, with a total of 347 kg. [3]
He is known for his extreme flexibility and gutsy performances. Jeff was a favorite to make the 2-man Olympic team for the 2008 Beijing games, but fell just short at the Olympic Trials in Atlanta, GA.
Andrei Rybakou is a Belarusian former weightlifter, Olympian and two-time World Champion who competed in the 85 kg category. In 2016, after a retest of his 2008 samples tested positive for Dehydrochloromethyl-testosterone and Stanozolol his performance at the 2008 Olympic Games was disqualified, as well as his Olympic record and World record set during the competition. He was also ordered to return his silver medal.
Dalas Santavy is a Canadian weightlifter Head coach for the 2020 Canadian Tokyo Olympic Team. He represented Canada at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia in the weightlifting competitions. He also competed at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Santavy retained the Canadian Senior Weightlifting Championship title for the fifth time on June 3, 2012 at the Canadian Senior Championship in La Prairie, Quebec. His total lift at the championship was 168 kg.

Mariam Usman is a Nigerian weightlifter. She competes in the women's +75 kg class, where she is a four-time African Champion and gold medalist at the Commonwealth Games. She also won a bronze medal at the 2011 World Weightlifting Championships and has competed in three editions of the Olympic Games, winning a bronze medal in 2008.
Cristián Escalante is a Chilean a weightlifter competing in the +105 kg category. Escalante has competed in three Pan American Games starting in 1999. In 1996, he became the first weightlifter to qualify for the Olympics from Chile.
Sarah Elizabeth Robles is an American weightlifter. She qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and earned a bronze medal in weightlifting at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, becoming the first US athlete to medal in Olympic weightlifting in 16 years. She repeated her feat in the +87 kg category at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, once again earning bronze, and becoming the first US woman to earn two Olympic weightlifting medals.

Fernando Saraiva Reis is a Brazilian weightlifter. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2016 Rio Games, finishing 11th and 5th, respectively. He won a bronze medal in the 2018 World Championships and is a three-time Pan American Games champion.
Vadzim Mikalayevich Straltsou is a Belarusian weightlifter. Competing in men's 94 kg, he is the 2015 World champion and 2016 Olympic silver medalist.
Natalie Burgener is an American weightlifter. She is a multiple-time American record-holder, a four-time national weightlifting champion (2005–2008), and a resident athlete of the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She also won a bronze medal for the 63 kg division at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Damaris Gabriela Aguirre Aldaz is a Mexican former weightlifter. She won a silver medal for the 75 kg class at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with a total of 240 kilograms.
Nauru competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 to 21 August 2016. The country's participation in Brazil was its sixth consecutive appearance at the Summer Olympics since its debut at the 1996 Summer Olympics. Nauru's delegation included two participants: Ovini Uera, a judoka in the men's middleweight judo category; and Elson Brechtefeld in the men's 56 kg weightlifting competition. Uera qualified as Nauru's top-ranked judoka, in the IJF World Ranking List through a quota slot from the Oceania Judo Union. Brechtefeld qualified by grant from the International Weightlifting Federation of an unused quota place. Uera was eliminated by Varlam Liparteliani in the round of 16 and Brechtefeld finished 15th in his event.
Luis Javier Mosquera Lozano is a Colombian Olympic weightlifter. He represented his country in the Men's 69 kg Weightlifting competition at the 2016 Summer Olympics on August 9, 2016, winning the bronze medal. He initially finished fourth behind Izzat Artykov, who was later disqualified for failing a performance-enhancing drugs test. He received his bronze medal on March 28, 2019.
