Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry is a Pakistani jurist who served as the 20th Chief Justice of Pakistan over three non-consecutive terms from 29 June 2005 to 11 December 2013.
The Leadership Council of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan,also translated as the Supreme Council,is an advisory council to the Supreme Leader of Afghanistan. On 10 January 2013,several bombings took place in the southwestern Pakistani city of Quetta,the capital of Balochistan,killing a total of 130 people and injuring at least 270. The Quetta bombings led to protests by the city's Shia Muslim Hazara community;Prime Minister of Pakistan Raja Pervez Ashraf responded by dismissing the Chief Minister of Balochistan,Aslam Raisani,and replacing him with Zulfikar Ali Magsi. On the same day,a bomb exploded in Swat District,Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,killing 22 people and injuring 60 others.
On 16 February 2013,at least 91 people were killed and 190 injured after a bomb hidden in a water tank exploded at a market in Hazara Town on the outskirts of Quetta,the capital city of Balochistan,Pakistan. Most of the victims were members of the predominantly Shia Twelver ethnic Hazara community,and authorities expected the death toll to rise due to the large number of serious injuries. The Lashkar-e-Jhangvi group claimed responsibility for the blast,the second major attack against the Shia Hazaras in a month.
The Balochistan Bar Council is a statutory &deliberative assembly of lawyers in Balochistan for safeguarding the rights,interests and privileges of practicing lawyers,within Balochistan province of Pakistan. The Council also regulates the conduct of lawyers and helps in the administration of justice. It has been constituted by Section 3(ii) of the Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils Act,1973 of Constitution of Pakistan. All lower court and Balochistan High Court lawyers within Balochistan are licensed with this council.

On 8 August 2016,terrorists attacked the Government Hospital of Quetta in Pakistan with a suicide bombing and shooting. They killed more than 70 people,mainly lawyers,and injured more than 130 others. The fatalities were mainly advocates (lawyers) who had assembled at the hospital where the body of Advocate Bilal Anwar Kasi,the president of the Balochistan Bar Association,was brought after he was shot dead by an unknown gunman. Responsibility for the attack has been claimed by various Islamist groups like Jamaat-ul-Ahrar and the Islamic State. Between 70 and 94 people were killed and over 120 injured. 54 of those killed were lawyers.

On 12 May 2017,a suicide bombing targeted the convoy of the Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan,Abdul Ghafoor Haideri,a JUI (F) member,on the N-25 National Highway in Mastung District,Balochistan,Pakistan. At least 28 people were killed;40 others were injured,including the Senator. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant claimed responsibility for the attack. The attack was an unsuccessful attempt to assassinate Haideri.
On 23 June 2017,a series of terrorist attacks took place in Pakistan resulting in 96 dead and over 200 wounded. They included a suicide bombing in Quetta targeting policemen,followed by a double bombing at a market in Parachinar,and the targeted killing of four policemen in Karachi.
On 12 August 2017,a suicide bombing took place near a Pakistan army truck in Quetta,Balochistan,Pakistan,leaving 15 people dead including 8 soldiers,while injuring 40 others. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant –Khorasan Province claimed responsibility for the attack.
Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar is a Pakistani politician who is currently serving as the Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan. He succeeded Shehbaz Sharif. He previously served as the spokesperson of the Government of Balochistan from 2015 to 2017.

Muhammad Noor Meskanzai was a Pakistani judge who served as the 17th Chief Justice of the Federal Shariat Court. Prior to his appointment as chief justice of the Islamic Court on 15 May 2021,he served as the 18th chief justice of Balochistan High Court from 26 December 2014 to 31 August 2018. He was assassinated by an outlawed insurgent group in his hometown. His killer was arrested 2 weeks after his assassination and is now under investigation of ISI,so the facilitators of murder and other suspects could also be arrested in the case.
Abdullah Jan Jamaldini was a Pakistani socialist thinker,researcher,and literal figure. He was associated with the Progressive Writers' Movement,Pakistan. Jamaldini received the Pride of Performance Award in 1990.
