Jena Umar Mohamed (born 24 December 1995) is a male Ethiopian middle-distance runner competing primarily in the 800 metres. [1] He represented his country at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing reaching the semifinals.
His personal bests in the event are 1:46.07 outdoors (Montbéliard 2015) and 1:49.06 indoors (Mondeville 2015).

ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb was the second Rashidun caliph, ruling from August 634 until his assassination in 644. He succeeded Abu Bakr as the second caliph of the Rashidun Caliphate on 23 August 634. Umar was a senior companion and father-in-law of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. He was also an expert Muslim jurist known for his pious and just nature, which earned him the epithet Al-Fārūq. The title Amir al-Mu'minin was held by Umar ibn Khattab who was also the first one to be given this title.
Jena is a city in Germany and the second largest city in Thuringia. Zaydism is a sub-sect of Shia Islam that emerged in the eighth century following Zayd ibn Ali‘s unsuccessful rebellion against the Umayyad Caliphate.
