Jens Johannessen (born 15 November 1934) is a Norwegian painter and graphical artist.

He was born in Orkdal. He studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts under Reidar Aulie from 1958 to 1961. He is represented in various galleries, including the National Gallery of Norway, Riksgalleriet, and the Taipei Fine Arts Museum. His book illustrations include Peder Wright Cappelen's Høstblad (1976) and Fugl i vår (1979). He was awarded the Prince Eugen Medal in 1993, and was decorated Commander of the Order of St. Olav in 1998. [1] [2]

Carl Frithjof Tidemand-Johannessen was a Norwegian designer, illustrator, writer, author, and craftsman. He is best known today for his woodcut prints and for the decorative works on the Torshov Church in Oslo.

Erik Harry Johannessen Norwegian painter (1902–1980)

Erik Harry Johannessen was a Norwegian painter. He studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry from 1924 to 1925, and was influenced by Kai Fjell and Edvard Munch. He belonged to a group of surrealists in the 1930s, and later painted landscapes, crowd pictures and altarpieces. He is represented at the National Gallery of Norway. Many of his paintings from the 1930s were bought by Rolf Stenersen, and are available at the Stenersen Museum.

Tone Thiis Schjetne was a Norwegian sculptor.
