Prince Edward Island is one of the thirteen provinces and territories of Canada. While it is the smallest province in terms of land area and population, it is the most densely populated. The island has several nicknames: "Garden of the Gulf", "Birthplace of Confederation" and "Cradle of Confederation". Its capital and largest city is Charlottetown. It is one of the three Maritime provinces and one of the four Atlantic provinces.
Prince Edward Island National Park is a National Park of Canada located in the province of Prince Edward Island. Spun off from the web series Just Passing Through, whose characters were fans of an in-universe television series called Pogey Beach, the film depicts the world inside the show-within-a-show through a storyline centred on Bethany, a teenage girl who moves from Toronto to Tracadie, Prince Edward Island with her father Winslow, and becomes fascinated by the diverse personalities who hang out at the local beach.
A Small Fortune is a 2021 Canadian crime drama film, written and directed by Adam Perry. The film stars Stephen Oates as Kevin Doucette, a man living in a small village in Prince Edward Island who makes a subsistence living harvesting sea moss on the coast; resisting the urging of his wife Sam that he leave the province to look for more stable and well-paying work, one day he finds a large stash of money on the beach and hides it for himself, only to be drawn into danger when Troy arrives looking for it.
Who's Yer Father? is a 2023 Canadian crime comedy film, written, produced, and directed by Jeremy Larter. The film stars Chris Locke as Larry Constable, a bumbling private investigator in a small Prince Edward Island town who teams up with convenience store owner Rhonda Perry to investigate a black market lobster smuggling ring.
