Jesper Hjorth (born April 3, 1975) is a Danish former professional association footballer, who predominantly played in the striker position. He played 10 games and scored one goal for the Denmark under-21 national team. [3]

Born in Odense, Hjorth started his senior career at Odense BK in the Danish Superliga championship, making his league debut in November 1994. [4] The highlight of his career came in December 1994, at the age of just 19. In the 1994-95 UEFA Cup, Hjorth played at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium against Real Madrid to help Odense BK knock Real Madrid out of the tournament. [5] He also scored against Madrid in the first leg at home. [6] Having scored nine goals in 61 league games, [4] Hjorth left Odense BK in January 1999, and joined Herning Fremad in the Danish 1st Division. [7]

In November 1999, Hjorth moved abroad to play for English team Darlington in the Football League Two tournament. Having scored 6 goals in 45 first team appearances for Darlington, [8] Hjorth moved back to Danish football to play for B1909 in June 2001. In July 2003, Hjorth went on to play amateur football in Næsby. [9]

He played as a striker, and most prominently represented English club Bristol City, Spanish club Rayo Vallecano, as well as several Danish clubs. He won the 1992 Danish Cup with AGF Aarhus. Andersen played 12 games for the Denmark national team, though he did not score, and represented Denmark at the 1992 Summer Olympics and 1996 European Championship tournaments.

After the Olympics, Sørensen played professionally in Italian football for Atalanta B.C. and A.C. Milan, winning the 1955 Serie A championship with Milan.

Troels Bech is a Danish professional football manager and former player, who managed Odense Boldklub (OB) to the 2002 Danish Cup trophy. He was the manager of Danish club Esbjerg fB until November 2008 and took over Danish club Silkeborg IF in January 2009. During his active career, he most prominently won the 1994 Danish Superliga championship with Silkeborg IF.

Morten Welling Donnerup is a Danish former football player, who played professionally for Spanish club Racing de Santander from 1985 to 1986. Playing in the midfielder position, he scored one goal in 10 matches for the Denmark national football team.

The 2016–17 Danish Superliga season was the 27th season of the Danish Superliga, which decides the Danish football championship. The season was the first with a new league structure in which 14 clubs play each other home and away, until the league was split up in championship and relegation play-offs. The new structure was inspired by the one used by the Belgian First Division A and was approved by the Danish FA, Dansk Boldspil-Union, on 28 June 2015.

Maja Ring Kildemoes is a Danish football defender who plays for Danish club Brøndby IF and the Denmark women's national football team. She previously played for Elitedivisionen club Odense and Linköpings FC in Damallsvenskan.

The 2021–22 Danish Women's 1st Division was the thirteenth season of the Danish nation-wide second-tier association football division since its establishment in 1992 as part of the Danmarksturneringen i kvindefodbold's nation-wide league structure. The two or multiple group format of the second division was abolished and a single division format was reintroduced for the first time since the 2012–13 season and with fewer clubs partaking. Governed by the Danish FA, the season was launched on 7 August 2021 with two fixtures in the preliminary round and concluded with the last four matches on 20 November 2021. All eight teams in the league took part in the previous season with four teams, Odense Q, B.93, IF ASA and Sundby BK, proceeding to the Qualification League without gaining promotion to the first division. The clubs in the division entered the 2021–22 Danish Women's Cup in the cup tournament's first round proper. The fixtures for the 2021–22 season were announced by the Danish FA's tournament committee and featured a twenty weeks long winter break.
